New Track for 16-Year-Old Hoosier State teenager as Angola Motorsport Park is next (Special from Deuser Motorsports)

Georgetown, Indiana (July 3, 2014) – All Corey Deuser needed was a solid finish, a good
finish to propel his sophomore season of competition in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour
Presented by Chevrolet Performance. A somewhat slow start to the 2014 campaign had
the 16-year-old and his Deuser Motorsports Team a little concerned going into the last
race on the schedule; . The John Jones Auto Group 100 Presented by Mountaineer
Firewood & JEGS.com at his home track of Salem Speedway (IN).

The historic 0.555 mile high-banked paved oval located just 30 minutes from the Deuser
Motorsports race shop in Salem, Indiana was the next race on the schedule on Saturday,
June 21st. Deuser knew he was in a good position to gain some valuable points in the
chase for the 2014 series championship and also needed to start stringing together some
solid runs in an effort to gain back some valuable points lost early in the season.

After qualifying 12th quick out of 23 cars, Deuser emerged from the race with his highest
finish of the season, a fourth on a hot and humid evening. "No place like home was a very
true statement for Salem. We knew that I had turned countless laps at that place and so
this is a good place to turn our season around." The Georgetown, Indiana driver stated. "I
was excited for Saturday I felt like the car was going to be set up well for long runs.
Practice went decent not the best, but the track had changed more than I anticipated and
we had to chase the setup a little bit." He added.

"We got the car back to good and we were ready for Qualifying. We did a last minute gear change though. (Crew Chief) Jim (Robinson) and I felt like that was the gear we needed in the race but had to give up a good Q run." The 16-year-old explained. "We ended up 12th and starting on the outside. Just like every Salem race I've seen this one was no different keep your nose clean and you will finish top five we had a couple of close calls during the race and barley slipped through. The car started to get a real bad shove at the end and I wasn't able to get off two as well and off four, but was still able to get our first top five of the season!."

After a weekend off, Deuser and the crew are back in action over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. The Powers Automotive 100 Presented by JEGS.com is at Angola Motorsport Speedway, located just south of the Indiana / Michigan state line in Fremont, Indiana on Saturday, July 5th. It'll be the first ever appearance for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour at the Northern Indiana facility, however, Deuser isn't worried about any new track blues.

"Angola is not 100% new to me actually. I went and watched Trey Craig and Brett Robinson run CRA Late Model Sportsman there in 2011 so I have somewhat of an idea of the track unless they repaved it or something else." The Hoosier State teenager laughed. "But we run pretty well on new tracks we hope to be able to keep the top five streak going at Angola." He ended.

Going into Angola, Deuser is now third in the season long points chase with his one top five, a fourth at Salem, to go with two top 10 finishes. The 2013 Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie of the Year is just seven points out of second place, currently held by Josh Nelms, and nine markers outside of the points lead, currently held by Dan Leeck. Still a good start so far for the Georgetown, Indiana driver in his sophomore season

In addition to the JEGS/CRA schedule in 2014, Deuser will also race as often as his JEGS/CRA schedule allows at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN) in the Big Machine Challenge Series. Later in the season, Deuser also plans on making his debut in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS as he'll make select appearances in CRA's premier tour before making a run for the series Rookie of the Year title in 2015.

For the rest of the 2014 racing season, Deuser's familiar red and black entries will be sporting a new number on the side of his Port City Racecars / Ford Fusions; #71, which will have a McGunegill Engine Performance crate motor under the hood and sponsorship support and decals from Focus Eyewear as well as Deuser Electric, ARC Construction Management, ASB Custom Homes, Off Axis Paint, Lucas Oil Products, Fast Track and M.P.H.
