Fifth Place At New Hampshire / Third Place At LOR Has Chad Finley Looking Ahead To The Rest Of 2014
NASCAR K&N Pro Series combo race / ARCA/CRA Super Series up next on August 1-2nd (Special from Chad Finley Racing)
July 28, 2014
DeWitt, Michigan (July 28, 2014) – A hectic mid-summer schedule for Chad Finley would
see the DeWitt, Michigan driver embark on a string of events throughout the country. A
recent stretch of races included a trip to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the Granite
State 100 on July 11th, which resulted in Finley's first career top five in the NASCAR K&N
Pro Series East, a fifth place showing.

The next two races were in ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS mode starting
with a return to the home state of Michigan at Berlin Raceway (MI) on July 19th. The
recent string ended with a podium finish of a third at Lucas Oil Raceway (IN) in the Circle
City 100 Presented by JEGS.com for the ARCA/CRA Super Series on July 25th.
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star, Kyle Busch would win in Indianapolis.

"It felt really good to bounce back at LOR after a hard weekend at Berlin. We chased the
car all weekend and when we got home we discovered a shock problem." Explained the
22-year-old. "I'm proud of my team and it speaks volumes to our will to win, to go to LOR, a race track that changes so much and have a good solid run. We were chasing Kyle (Busch) and (John Hunter) Nemechek down at the end of the race but just ran out of time." He added.

"We needed a couple more laps to make it interesting. Our race car would get better on long runs and it's encouraging to compete with those guys who have a ton of NASCAR support and experience." Continued Finley. "Our day is coming soon. We're making solid gains and have been fast everywhere this year. We will keep working hard in the shop and it will pay off." Finley ended.

As for the rest of the 2014 racing season, Finley will run in mainly high-profile Super Late Model races throughout the country primarily in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS. He'll also race in events within the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, ARCA Midwest Tour and the Southern Super Series. On some off weekends, Finley will also compete in an Outlaw Bodied Pro Late Model closer to home at Owosso Speedway (MI) and will add some shows on dirt in his new UMP DIRTcar Late Model at select tracks around his home state of Michigan.

All of Finley's #42 Chad Finley Racing entries will carry sponsorship support and decals all year long from Auto Value Parts Stores & Certified Service Centers as well as AutoParts2020.com, The Air Lift Company, XLT Engineering, NorthsideTowing.net, Five Star Racecar Bodies, Bassett Racing Wheels, Affordable Tire & Service, Bosch Spark Plugs, Hyperco Suspension, Superior Racing Images and M.P.H.
