35th Annual SUPERSEAL Slinger Nationals Up Next For ARCA/CRA Super Series Points Leader, Ross Kenseth
21-year-old set to run against his Father, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star, Matt Kenseth (Special from Boyne Machine Racing)
July 10, 2014
Jenison, Michigan (July 10, 2014) – The Boyne Machine Racing Team continues to work
hard in search of wins with the hectic schedule they have set for themselves in 2014. A
brand new team started in December 2013 from scratch; Driver Ross Kenseth and the
rest of the crew continue to persevere in their sprawling new 10,000 square foot filled with
the best of the best in equipment. Despite a win escaping the team so far, the entire
team led by Car Owner, Mike Blackmer remains optimistic looking ahead to the second
half of the season.

That second half begins with a 'home game' of sorts for the Little Chute, Wisconsin native on Tuesday, July 15th. Not only a race in his native Wisconsin to kick off the second half, but the rare opportunity to race with his Father, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star and 2003 series champion, Matt Kenseth in the 35th Annual SUPERSEAL Slinger Nationals Presented by Miler Lite at the fast 1/4 (0.250) mile high-banked paved oval of Slinger Super Speedway, located northwest of Milwaukee in Slinger, Wisconsin.

The high profile event will go 199 laps and pay $9,999 to win in honor of the late Dick Trickle. One of the biggest races in one of the biggest racing hotbeds in the country, Wisconsin is not lost on the 21-year-old Cheese State native who now resides in Jenison, Michigan. "I'm really excited for Slinger, being from Wisconsin it's always been one of the biggest races and one my dad has had a ton of success at." Kenseth offered. "I've been close to getting a win in the past so it would be really special to run good there especially with my dad running in the event." He added.

His Father is a six-time Slinger Nationals winner and will be looking to add a seventh title to his resume. The 42-year-old Cambridge, Wisconsin native picked up a victory earlier in the season at Madison International Speedway (WI) in a special Super Late Models 100-lap main. Now he'll return to the fast 1/4 mile in Slinger, WI to go head to head with his son and the best that his home state has to offer. Plus he'll be behind the wheel of the #8 Pathfinder Chassis house car.

“I really wanted to bring the eight back one more time. It’s been 20 years. (Uncle) Steve was 98; Dad was 88, so I was just eight. The only times I changed was when I drove for Robbie (Reiser) and they used the digits 17 (equals eight). Some people won’t get it, but those who have been here a long time will remember." The elder Kenseth offered. “The Slinger Nationals have always been fun. I remember watching them when Bobby Allison, Neil Bonnett, Dale Earnhardt, Alan Kulwicki, Bobby Dotter were racing. It was always great." He added.

The younger Kenseth will come into the race armed with the colors and decals from the event title sponsor, SUPERSEAL Construction Products.  Based in Langley, British Columbia while also headquartered within the United States in Las Vegas, Nevada, SUPERSEAL is led by seasoned individuals in the fields of product development, engineering, marketing, advertising and sales with waterproofing experience dating back to the early 1980's.

"Anytime a sponsor expresses interest in me it's always awesome." The current points leader in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS continued. "I couldn't be any more excited to have SUPERSEAL on the car for the Nationals. They are really big supporters of racing and have helped bring back the Nationals back to how it used to be when my dad first started racing." Kenseth added.

SUPERSEAL Construction Products found that the traditional methods of damp-proofing or waterproofing did not offer complete protection for the life of the structure. Their inability to control both internal and external moisture has resulted in frequent callbacks. This, among other factors, has led SUPERSEAL to develop superior damp-proofing and waterproofing systems for several types of construction applications.

Featuring air gap technology, SUPERSEAL developed the ultimate home waterproofing system that may not only control both internal and external moisture but will also last as long as your home. In addition, it will help prevent moisture damage, help reduce mold related problems and can improve the indoor quality of your home.

SUPERSEAL’s high performance air gap products are quickly becoming the dominant leader for most types of construction projects that require damp-proofing or waterproofing protection. Whether it is a residential, commercial or an industrial project, SUPERSEAL provides moisture control products to meet your needs. The guaranteed outstanding performance, ease of use and low cost has made SUPERSEAL products widely accepted and favored by builders, waterproofing contractors and do-it-yourselfers across North America.
