June 4, 2014
Salem, Indiana (June 4, 2014) – The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet
Performance will head north to the state of Wisconsin for this weekend’s JEGS 100 at
the famed Milwaukee Mile. Sunday’s event will be the first ever series event in the state
of Wisconsin were they will be part of the huge ARCA Fest Weekend at the Milwaukee
Mile with the ARCA Midwest Tour Super Late Models plus the Monster Truck Summer
Nationals. The 100 lap special non-points event will pay $5,000 to win, making it one of
the highest paying crate late model events in the country.

Topping the list of entries for the JEGS 100 is former NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Sterling
Marlin. The 56 year old Marlin was a 10 time winner with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series,
including two wins in the prestigious Daytona 500.  While his NASCAR success came
mostly on speedways, his racing roots are on the short tracks. He is a three-time track
champion at the legendary Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, Tennessee and still, even
years after leaving the NASCAR scene, can usually be found at a short track with his
Late Model on any given weekend. Marlin recently competed with the JEGS/CRA All-Star
Tour at the Mercy Masters of the Pro’s 144 event at Lebanon I-44 Speedway were he
lead the first 17 laps and was in the top five throughout the event until contact from
another competitor caused him to spin regulating him to a 23rd place finish.

John Hunter Nemechek is also entered, he is the son of NASCAR veteran racer Joe
Nemechek. Nemechek is racing a partial NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule this season, he finished sixth in last Friday’s truck series event at Dover International Speedway, in only his second start with the truck series. Nemechek got a JEGS/CRA All-Star Tour win in the season opening SpeedFest event at Watermelon Capital Speedway. Nemechek will do double duty this weekend also competing in the 150 lap ARCA Midwest Tour event.

Anderson Bowen, winner of the Mercy Masters of the Pro’s 144 event, is entered. The Suwanee, Georgia native is also running full time with the Southern Super Series where he is second in points. Bowen got his first JEGS/CRA All-Star Tour win at Watermelon Capital Speedway in the last race of the 2012 season. Bowen will also be doing double duty racing in the 150 lap ARCA Midwest Tour event.

2013 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Lucas Oil Raceway winner Dominique Van Wieringen is entered. She looks to shake off the streak of bad luck she has had so far this season this weekend at Milwaukee. Two other 2013 series winners are entered, Michigan’s Robbie Johnson, winner at the series event at Auto City Speedway and Alabama racer Justin South, winner of the series event at Memphis International Raceway.

2013 Five Flags Speedway Pro Late Model Champion Garrett Jones is entered. The Mooresville, North Carolina native has already picked up a win at Five Flags this season. Top Illinois racer Dave Gentile Jr., who finished second in the Mercy Masters of the Pro’s 144 event, is entered as is former Illiana Motor Speedway Late Model Champion Jeff Cannon.

Michigan Outlaw Late Model standout Phil Bozell is entered along with another top Michigan racer David McManus. Series rookie Tristan Van Wieringen looks to keep up his great performances so far in 2014, the Canadian is the younger brother of Dominique. Ohio veteran racer Jack Smith is entered as is Kentucky racers Dakota Stroup and Jeff Berg.

Fans can meet Sterling Marlin and all the drivers of every racing division competing during ARCA Fest weekend on Bud Pole Night, Friday June 6th, at the Bud Pavilion on the track property. Bud Pole Night is a mandatory event for all the racers, so fans will have the chance to interact with their favorites. The event starts at 7pm and will be highlighted by one of Milwaukee’s top bands, the Cheap Shots.
