May 7, 2014
Georgetown, Indiana (May 7, 2014) – Corey Deuser and his Deuser Motorsports Team
began their quest for the 2014 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet
Performance Championship on Sunday, May 4th at Springport Motor Speedway. The fast
3/8s (0.375) mile semi-banked paved oval located north of Jackson and south of Lansing
in Springport, Michigan was the site for the Cabin Fever 100 Presented by JEGS.com and
the 16-year-old started the 2014 campaign off on the right track with a solid sixth place
showing.

"The weekend started off a little rough we went out for the first practice and had a drive
shaft issue. Once we got all that figured out we started making head way and started to
get good speed out of the car.: Explained the Georgetown, Indiana driver as he reflected
on the weekend. "We ran most of practice on old tires and wanted to get a good feel for
the car on older tires. Even though we were not at the top of the speed charts we felt good
about the car." He added.

In Boyne Machine Qualifying and with 32 teams on the property, a good starting position
was the focus for Deuser's newly numbered #71 Focus Eyewear / Ford. "By the time
qualifying rolled around we felt good about our chances to grab a pole for the first time. We were happy to get P2 and really showed what we worked for that weekend."

With the inversion draw a nine, Deuser would start the 100-lap main from the outside of the fourth row. "The outside wasn't the place to be for my car. we battled hard on the inside, outside and had to avoid a couple wrecks that happened in front of me." The Hoosier State driver continued. "We came out pretty clean and with a sixth place finish." He stated. With the finish and combined with his qualifying bonus points, Deuser will head to the next event fourth in the early season points chase.

The 2nd Annual Mercy Masters of the Pros 144 Presented by JEGs.com is the next race for Deuser and crew as the 3/8s (0.375) mile high-banked paved oval  of Lebanon I-44 Speedway located southwest of St. Louis in Lebanon, Missouri and will host on Saturday, May 17th. There's also a practice day scheduled for the day before on Friday, May 16th as the track is one where Deuser has turned a lot of laps on in his brief career.

"We are looking forward to Lebanon I-44 Speedway. We have already done a local race to prepare for this event and feel that it will help us get a good finish and stay in the top five in the points." Deuser continued. "Real happy with how things have started. Hopefully we can continue to improve and contend for the championship. We know we're one of the contenders. We've just got to prove that we belong." He ended.

In addition to the JEGS/CRA schedule in 2014, Deuser will also race as often as possible at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN) in the Big Machine Challenge Series. Later in 2014, Deuser also plans on making his debut in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS as he'll make select appearances in CRA's premier tour before embarking on a run for the series Rookie of the Year title in 2015.

For the remainder of the 2014 racing season, Deuser's familiar red and black entries will be sporting a new number on the side of his Port City Racecars / Ford Fusions; #71, which will have a McGunegill Engine Performance crate motor under the hood and sponsorship support and decals from Focus Eyewear as well as Deuser Electric, ARC Construction Management, ASB Custom Homes, Off Axis Paint, Lucas Oil Products, Fast Track and M.P.H.
