DuroByte Motorsports Returns Twice as Strong
Dominique & Tristan Van Wieringen ready for the 2014 season in JEGS/CRA (Special from DuroByte Motorsports)
May 1, 2014
Corunna, Michigan (May 1, 2014) – The 2013 season finished strong for the DuroByte
Motorsports Team with Dominique VanWieringen finishing the year with a gratifying win at
Lucas Oil Raceway and backing that win up with a dominating performance at Winchester
Speedway finishing second due to mechanical issues. These impressive performances
will set the tone going into the 2014 season.

Dominique will not be the only driver behind the wheel this season as DuroByte
Motorsports is pleased to announce that they will be adding another driver to the roster for
the 2014 schedule. 16-‐year-‐old Tristan VanWieringen, brother of Dominique, will be
piloting the number 81 DuroByte Motorsports Ford. Tristan’s devotion for competition
came at a young age, from motocross and karting to modifies. Tristan’s sights now will be
set on the JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour and the prestigious Howie Lettow rookie of the year
title.

With these two young extraordinary talents and plethora of knowledge from veteran crew
chief Jimmy D Smith you can count on DuroByte Motorsports to make a solid run for
JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour Championship and Howie Lettow rookie of year title. The team
has been working vigorously all winter building new cars and will return to the series twice
as strong. The driver duo will make their first appearance at the JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour
season opener May 4th at Springport Motor Speedway.

The brother sister combo are no strangers to the 3/8th mile, both making several starts, and Dominique having a Super Late Model track championship under her belt.  “I'm excited to get back behind the wheel of the DuroByte Motorsports’ Ford Fusion, we really worked hard last year and finished strong and we’re looking to pick up where we left off,” says Dominique VanWieringen.

“I'm very excited to get my chance in one of these strong DuroByte Motorsports’ cars, last year the rookie team showed success and we are hoping to strengthen that this year,” Tristan VanWieringen commented.

With the excitement running high between the two drivers, crew chief Jimmy D Smith is ready to take the 2014 season head on.  “DuroByte Motorsports is only in its second year and we are still looking to grow and expand to be a sturdy team for years to come,” says Smith.  “I'm looking forward to continue to work with these
young and upcoming talents.”
