Winamac, Indiana (March 10, 2014) – The goal for 14-year-old J.J. Haley during the 48th
annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway (FL) from
February 14-22nd was to gain valuable seat time behind the wheel of his Pro Late Model
and to continue and gel with the team in preparation for the 2014 racing season within the
JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance. Both missions were
accomplished.

In six events ran out of the seven scheduled, he missed one due to school commitments,
the Winamac, Indiana teenager would gather up four top 10 finishes including a series
high seventh  place showing on two occasions to finish ninth in the World Series Pro Late
Models final points standings. Not the results Haley and the team were hoping for, but
what they learned during their time in Florida will hopefully prove valuable once the JEGS/
CRA All-Stars Tour season starts.

"Going into Speedweeks I was very optimistic, I felt pretty good about our chances and I
knew we weren't really going to run for points due to my high school classes I was
scheduled to miss two night of racing." Haley explained. "We struggled all week trying to
get speed and after getting so close with our primary car, we had to bring out the back-up
car. It took a while to shake that car down and the first race in the car was the 100
lapper." He added.

"After a spark plug wire fell off on lap 11 are chances of winning that one were blown away." The Hoosier State teenager continued. "We had a tough time all week, finding the right driver/car balance so we could be as competitive as possible but just really never found it. I'm happy the week turned out the way it did though, things could have gone a lot worse. I successfully achieved a great number of hours in the seat and learned a lot about the cars and track." He ended.

Now all focus for Haley and the J.J. Haley Racing Team shifts to the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour season and a run at the 2014 Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie of the Year title beginning with the Cabin Fever 100 Presented by JEGS.com on Saturday-Sunday, May 3-4th at the 3/8s (0.375) mile semi-banked paved oval of Springport Motor Speedway, located north of Jackson and south of Lansing in Springport, Michigan.

In addition to the full JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour schedule. Haley will also make select appearances in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS during the season and will also fill the schedule with select appearances in the Vore's Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Series Powered by JEGS as well as in weekly competition at Toledo Speedway (OH) competing in the tracks ARCA Sportsman division.
