Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks at Anderson Speedway This Saturday, August 2nd 

Fourth of Five appearances on the fast 1/4 mile in 2014

Salem, Indiana (July 30, 2014) – The Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Powered by

JEGS will be back in action this Saturday at Anderson Speedway located in Anderson,

IN, in the fourth of five series events at the fast quarter mile. Saturday’s event will be the

seventh event of the season for the series as it has reached the halfway point of the 2014

season.

Winners so far in 2014 include Jason Atkinson at the season opener at Lucas Oil

Raceway on April 6th and at the series’ most recent event at Anderson on July 12th.

Josh Poore won the first 200 lap event of the CRA Street Stock Triple Crown Series at

Shadybowl Speedway on April 19th and at Anderson on May 3rd. Brett Hudson won the

second 200 lap Triple Crown event at Kentucky Motor Speedway on May 25th and Bret

Miles Jr. won the final 200 lap Triple Crown event at Anderson Speedway on June 21st.

Atkinson comes into Saturday’s event as the current series point’s leader after winning

the CRA Street Stock Triple Crown Points Championship and the $1000 cash bonus and

Crumrine Buckle Manufacturing Championship Buckle. Atkinson has built a commanding

73 point lead with his two wins and steady top finishes for car owner Danny Acrey.

2013 series Champion Dustin Burge comes into Saturday’s event second in series points after a second place finish at Anderson on July 12th. 2012 series Champion Jimmy Kirby is in third place, only three points behind Burge. Josh Lank has now moved into fourth place, he is 49 points behind Kirby. Leading series rookie Jeff Johnson is in fifth place, he is six points behind Lank.

Poore leads the Anderson Speedway Street Stocks points heading into Saturday night’s event with three feature victories so far this season. Burge is currently in second place, 68 points behind Poore. James Kirby is in third place, with Andrew Cook in fourth and Danny Adams in fifth place.

Pit Gates open on Saturday at 3:30pm. Practice is set to begin at 5pm with qualifying at 6:30pm. The race program will begin at 8pm and will include a 75 lap feature for the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks. Also in action will be the Anderson FWD Oval Cars, FWD Figure 8 Cars, Pro Compacts and the Indy Fastcarts.
