Over 70 Cars Now Entered for CRA Events with the Battle at Berlin 251 Weekend  
Huge Two Day Event at Berlin Raceway

Salem, Indiana (July 16, 2014) – Entries have now grown to over 70 cars for this
weekend’s CRA events with the Battle at Berlin 251 Presented by Primera Plastics
Weekend at Berlin Raceway located in Marne, Michigan. To date there are 34 cars pre-
entered for Friday night’s Berlin 100 Presented by Boyne Machine and JEGS.com for the
JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance. There are 37 cars now
pre-entered for Saturday night’s Battle at Berlin 251 Presented by Primera Plastics for
the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS, which will pay out over $100,000 in
purse and cash bonuses. The event will pay $10,000 to win, $8000 for second, $6500 for
third, down to an astounding $2000 to start for a 30 car starting field.

Current JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour point’s leader Dan Leeck tops the list of entries for the
Berlin 100 Presented by Boyne Machine and JEGS.com, he currently holds a nine point
lead over second place Josh Nelms who is also entered. Other top CRA drivers entered
for the Friday nights race include Corey Deuser, Jaxson Jacobs, Marc Jacobs, Hunter
Baize, Jordan Miller, Dakota Stroup, Jack Smith, Jordan Sims, Nikky Saxon and Jacob
Finney. The top Howie Lettow Rookie of the Year Presented by Howe Racing competitors
are entered including Dalton Armstrong, Grant Quinlan, Cole Rouse, Tristan Van
Wieringen, and J. J. Haley. Haley, Baize and Quinlan have all been to victory lane once
this season with the series.

There is a strong group of local racers entered for Friday night’s race including Berlin
Raceway Promoter Mike Bursley, who has two series wins to his credit, one at Berlin
Raceway in 2012 and one at Lucas Oil Raceway last season. Other top local drivers
entered include Chris Koslek, who finished second in this event last year, 2011 series
Berlin winner Terry Van Haitsma, and former series regular Brandon Hermiller. Other local
racers entered are Jon Beach, Jordan Dahlke, Justin Ryan, Chris Anthony, Andrew
Nylaan, Seth Moody, Lauren Bush and Lindsey Katz. Michigan standouts Trevor Berry and Pat Zorn are also entered.

Georgia hot shoe Anderson Bowen is entered, he was the winner of the series Mercy Masters of the Pro’s 144 in May and won his first ever Southern Super Series event last Saturday at Gresham Motorsports Park. Texas racer Chris Davidson is also entered, he is also now entered for the Battle at Berlin 251.

The awesome list of entries for the Battle at Berlin 251 has been well documented over the last two weeks and includes some of the top late model drivers in the country along with the best of the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the Berlin Boyne Machine Company Super Late Models.  Some of the entries include Daniel Hemric, Bubba Pollard, Johnny VanDoorn, Brian Campbell, Ross Kenseth, Travis Braden, Rick Turner, Ali Kern, Paul Shafer Jr., Brandon Watson, Wes Griffith Jr., Nick Gullatta, Anderson Bowen, Chad Finley, Scott Neal, Terry Senneker Jr., Phil Bozell, Brandon Hermiller, Ross Meeuwsen, Joe Bush, Terry VanHaitsma, Chris Koslek, Andrew Nylaan and Dave Lake.
The Battle at Berlin 251 will be the second event of the JEGS/CRA $100,000 Super Late Model Triple Crown, which will pay a driver $100,000 bonus if a driver can win the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300, the Battle at Berlin 251 and the 43rd Annual Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway. There is a $10,000 bonus if a driver can only win two of the events. Daniel Hemric won the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 on June 14th, and is the only driver with a shot at the $100,000 bonus.

The Battle at Berlin 251 will also be the second event of the Boyne Machine $10,000 Michigan Challenge, which will pay a driver a $10,000 cash bonus if they can win all four Michigan events the series has in 2014. Brian Campbell won the first event of that challenge on May 31st at Berlin Raceway.

The Battle at Berlin 251 Presented by Primera Plastics Weekend will begin with an open practice on Thursday, July 17th, pits will open at 11am with practice going from 2 to 6pm. After practice join everyone at Craigs Cruisers in Wyoming, MI for some pre-race festivities including the Craigs Cruisers Battle Warmup .251 featuring local favorite TV and Radio Celebrities, Local Berlin Drivers and even a few fans.

On Friday, July 18th, pits will open at 11:30, there will be three open practice sessions for the Battle at Berlin 251 cars only starting at 1:30pm. Practice for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance will begin at 2pm, with qualifying at 5:30pm. Friday night’s race program will begin at 6:30 pm and will include the Berlin 100 Presented by JEGS.com and Boyne Machine Company for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. The Berlin Budweiser Outlaw Late Models and the Top Speed Modifieds will also race in Friday night’s program and there will be a 15 minute practice session for the Battle at Berlin 251 cars.

Pits open on Saturday, July 19th at 12noon, there will be a one hour practice for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Battle at Berlin 251 cars at 3pm, with qualifying for the Battle at Berlin 251 beginning at 5:10pm. There will be an on track autograph session with all the drivers starting at 5:50pm, the race program will begin at 6:30 pm and will include the Battle at Berlin 251 Presented by Primera Plastics plus racing action from the Berlin Sportsman Division.
