ARCA/CRA Super Series Points Leader, Ross Kenseth Ready To Return To Columbus Motor Speedway
Brand New Team rolls on despite No Wins yet in 2014 (Special from Boyne Machine Company Racing)
June 24, 2014
Jenison, Michigan (June 24, 2014) – With two races within a span of four days in two
different states from June 14-17th, Ross Kenseth took advantage of a rare weekend off to
relax, regroup and get ready for the next event on the 2014 schedule. After a seventh
place finish in the Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway (IN) on June 14th followed by a
sixth place effort in the Colony Brands 100 at Madison International Speedway (WI) on
June 17th, won by his Father, 2003 NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Matt Kenseth, The
Boyne Machine Racing Team is ready to roll for the next race.

The Boyne Machine crew continues to work hard in search of wins with the hectic
schedule they have set for themselves. A brand new team started in December 2013 from
scratch; Kenseth, Crew Chief Kelly Bires and the rest of the crew continue to persevere in
their sprawling new 10,000 square foot filled with the best of the best in equipment.
Despite a win escaping the team so far, the entire team led by Car Owner, Mike Blackmer
remains optimistic looking ahead to the second half of the season. After all, they are the
current points leaders, in the ARCA/CRA Super Series.

The next race on the schedule is the JEGS 125 Presented by CoughlinCars.com is at the
fast 1/3 (0.333) mile semi-banked, circular shaped  paved oval of Columbus Motor
Speedway in Columbus, Ohio is on Saturday, June 28th. The 21-year-old has made one
appearance in the Buckeye State capital city, which resulted in a win back on May 30,
2011. "I'm looking forward to going back to Columbus. The only time I raced there we won and it was one of the most fun races I have been a part of. So going back I hope we can produce similar results." The Little Chute, Wisconsin driver stated.

While the team is leading the points standings in one of the premier Super Late Model tours in the country, the Boyne Machine Racing Team is not satisfied with where they are at. The biggest thing to the team; lack of wins. That is something that Car Owner, Mike Blackmer is hoping will change and soon. "We're competitive, but there's just something missing right now and we need to figure out what it is." Explained the veteran car owner. "We've got the best of everything, just like what his Dad gave him in the past. We still have some work to do to get to where we need to be." He ended.

Heading into Columbus and in five ARCA/CRA Super Series races in 2014, Kenseth, who now resides in Jenison, Michigan, is the points leader in the series and hasn't finished worse than ninth in any ARCA/CRA event. He has two top five finishes to go with five top 10 showings. His season high finish in the series is a third place effort back on April 26th at Anderson Speedway (IN). Heading into the Columbus event, Kenseth leads Brian Campbell by just six points and is 27 markers ahead of defending series champion, Travis Braden who sits third.

For the rest of the 2014 season, Kenseth's fleet of #77 Boyne Machine Racing / Enterprise Iron & Metal / Ford Fusions are continually and actively seeking sponsorship to go along with the stickers already on the car from Boyne Machine Company as well as Enterprise Iron & Metal. More sponsors include Doc360 as well as McGunegill Engine Performance, Draco Springs, Penske Racing Shocks, AP Racing Brakes, Quartermaster, Fast Signs of Appleton, Wisconsin and M.P.H. Promotions.
