Ross Kenseth Ready for Border Wars II - Calypso Lemonade 150 At Illiana Memorial Day Monday
Hoping to celebrate 21st birthday with a trip to victory lane (Special from Boyne Machine Racing)
May 21, 2014
Jenison, Michigan (May 21, 2014) – After spending Saturday, May 17th competing at his
race team, Boyne Machine Racing's home track, Ross Kenseth is ready to get back into
ARCA/CRA Super Series mode. Starting with Border Wars II - Calypso Lemonade 150 on
Memorial Day Monday, May 26th at Illiana Motor Speedway, located south of Chicago,
Illinois in Schererville, Indiana. The Chicagoland area facility will host the second and final
combination race between the ARCA/CRA Super Series and ARCA Midwest Tour.

Illiana is also the site of Kenseth's last ARCA Midwest Tour victory on June 18th, 2011.
While the 2010 ARCA Midwest Tour Rookie of the Year will be sporting the colors of the
ARCA/CRA Super Series for this event, Kenseth's experience at the fast 1/2 (0.500) mile
semi-banked paved oval should prove to pay off in the 150-lap main. I'm excited for Illiana;
I haven't been there since I won in 2011, so hopefully we can pick up from right where we
left off." The soon to be 21-year-old (On May 25th) remarked.

Kenseth competed at Berlin in the historic 7/16s (0.437) mile semi-banked paved ovals'
Boyne Machine Super Late Models Series. This was the first appearance for Kenseth and
Boyne Machine Racing together at Berlin in 2014 as they prepared for the ARCA/CRA
Super Series race at the famed fairgrounds oval on Saturday, May 31st. After qualifying sixth quick within the 23-car field, the now Jenison, Michigan resident ended the 60-lap main on the podium in third.

"Berlin went really well. In the past I've struggled there more times than I have run well." Added Kenseth as he reflected on his run at the famed West Michigan speed plant. "We made a lot of progress from the test session and it showed during the race so it gave us a really good baseline for when we go back there for the ARCA/CRA Super Series race at the end of the month." He ended.

After the Illiana and just five days later, a return trip to Berlin is on the schedule for Saturday, May 31st with the running of the Berlin 125 Presented by AutoWorldFinancial.com. So far in ARCA/CRA Super Series competition, the Little Chute, Wisconsin native has two top fours in two points races with a season high showing of a third in the last ARCA/CRA race which was back on April 26th at Anderson Speedway. Going into Illiana, Kenseth is just 13 markers back of points leader, Brian Campbell.

For the rest of the 2014 campaign, Kenseth's fleet of #77 Boyne Machine Racing / Enterprise Iron & Metal / Ford Fusions are continually seeking sponsorship to go along with the decals already on the car from Boyne Machine Company as well as Enterprise Iron & Metal to join up with Doc360, McGunegill Engine Performance, Draco Springs, Penske Racing Shocks, AP Racing Brakes, Quartermaster, Fast Signs of Appleton, Wisconsin and M.P.H.
