Fifth Place in ARCA/CRA Super Series points heading to second showdown with ARCA Midwest Tour
(Special from Rick Turner Racing)
May 20, 2014
Yorktown, Indiana (May 20, 2014) – With a month off in between races, Rick Turner has
been focused on his Rick Turner Racing development driver, 16-year-old Cole Rouse. The
Fort Smith, Arkansas teenager is running for the Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie of the
Year title in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance and so far
in two points races, Rouse has worked his way into the top 10 overall in points and is fifth
in a loaded freshman class.

As for Turner, it's his turn once again to get back behind the wheel. After Rouse
competes in the Agroscapes 100 Presented by SizzleMarine.com at Columbus Motor
Speedway in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, May 24th, the RTR team will head back home
to Yorktown, Indiana, drop off Rouse's JEGS/CRA car, pick up the ARCA/CRA Super
Series machine and head across the Hoosier State to Illiana Motor Speedway in
Schererville, Indiana on Memorial Day Monday, May 26th for the second and final Border
Wars race of the season.

The Calypso Lemonade 150 featuring the ARCA/CRA Super Series going head to head
with the ARCA Midwest Tour Presented by SCAG Power Equipment is hosted by the
ARCA Midwest Tour. In the first Border Wars race back on April 12th at Toledo Speedway, Turner finished 11th in the 7-Up 150 and is hoping for a solid top 10 or even higher against an expected stacked field.

"Really looking forward to get back in the car after working with Cole (Rouse) for the past couple of weeks. We have had a great car up there in the past and looking forward to another great effort from the team," The 55-year-old stated. "The last time we were up there, we finished third (June 21st, 2008). Plus we are getting better each week as a team and we will see the hard work pay off in the summer stretch of races." He added.

Turner, who has made 216 career starts in the ARCA/CRA Super Series, good for second all-time, is now only seven starts behind Kenny Tweedy (223) for the all-time lead. Turner is amongst the all-time leaders in nearly every statistical category within the series' 18-year history.

For the remainder of the 2014 racing season, Turner's black and red #26 will have sponsor decals from T.J. Racing Lubricants as well as McGunegill Engine Performance, G&G Oil of Indiana, AR Bodies, Schoenfeld Headers, Port City Racecars, Q.S.
