Toledo Speedway set to host both tours on April 12th
March 4, 2014 - ARCA/CRA Super Series Entry Form
Salem, Indiana (March 4, 2014) – Officials from the ARCA Midwest Tour Presented by
SCAG Power Equipment and the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS have
released their entry forms for the first combination race of the 2014 season between the
two series, which will take place on April 12th at Toledo Speedway, located in Toledo,
Ohio. Last year’s 7-UP 150 was the first ever combination race between the two series
and was immediately labeled a huge success.

“I don’t know if things could have gone any better, except for the cold weather we had,”
remarked Glenn Luckett, Managing Partner with Champion Racing Association. “That
event showed what two good sanctioning bodies can do when they work together towards
a common goal. The racing was very exciting, yet very clean and showcased the talent
that exists in both series drivers!”

"Bringing the two top series in the country together for a combined event was a great step
forward for the future and things went amazingly well, stated ARCA Midwest Tour Vice
President Steve Einhaus. “The race itself was very exciting and one of the cleanest events
we have ever had. We couldn't be happier about the end result and what the future brings
for the two Border Wars events.”

Both series have agreed to combine on two occasions again in 2014 with the first event
kicking off at Toledo and with the second event taking place at Illiana Motor Speedway in
Schererville, Indiana on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th. The second combined event in
2013 was at Madison International Speedway.

"These combo events have been one of the best things to come out of our common relationship with ARCA in my opinion,” remarked RJ Scott, Managing Partner with Champion Racing Association. “These events have become events that our racers and other top late model racers around the country want to come race in. Racers want to race against the best racers in the country, and that’s what you will see at Toledo and again at Illiana in May!”

Both series will have their own entry form for their respective competitors and geographical locations. Special provisions and weights for the ARCA Midwest Tour and ARCA/CRA Super Series are posted on each entry form. All technical questions can be answered by contacting Tim Olson and Mike Lemke from the ARCAMT or RJ Scott and Eddie Chew from ARCA/CRA.

The event will kick off with an Open Practice on Friday, April 11th. Pits will open at 11am with hauler parking. Tech will open at 1pm. Open Practice will go from 3 to 7pm. At 7:30pm there will be a dinner at the Toledo Speedway Bar/Grille for all pit pass purchasers, additional dinners will be available for $10 per plate.

Pit Gates open on Saturday, April 12th at 8am, practice will go from 10 to 11:30am. Qualifying will begin at 1pm. The race program will begin at 3pm with 15 lap Last Chance Races, followed by an on track Autograph Session with all the events drivers.
