January 7, 2014
Salem, Indiana (January 7, 2014) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS
officials have announced the second group of early entries that have arrived for SpeedFest
2014, which will be held on Saturday, January 25th and Sunday, January 26th at
Watermelon Capital Speedway located in Cordele, Georgia. As is tradition, this event is
held the weekend prior to the Super Bowl every year.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor Johnny Sauter tops the second group
of early entries to date for the 200 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS event
with SpeedFest 2014. The former Wisconsin late model competitor has raced in all three
of NASCAR’s upper levels, but has been primarily in the Truck Series the past five years.
Last season Sauter picked up three victories including the season opener at Daytona and
finished fourth in series points. At last year’s SpeedFest Sauter was the Fast Qualifier and
looked to be the car to beat for the win when clutch problem sidelined him on lap 101.

Also now entered for the 200 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series SpeedFest 2014 event are
North Carolina late model standout Jeff Fultz, Georgia teenager Spencer Davis, Illinois teenager Jake Griffin, ARCA/CRA Super Series regular Brandon Oakley from Ohio and veteran Joe Ross from Missouri. They join the likes of David Ragan, John Hunter Nemechek, Donnie Wilson, Hunter Robbins, Anderson Bowen, Dalton Grindle and Brady Boswell on that events early entry list.

Topping the list of the second group of entries for the 125 lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance event with SpeedFest 2014 is Memphis JEGS Tour winner Justin South from Alabama, Michigan Outlaw Late Model Standout Terry Senneker Jr. in an Andy Ponstein owned machine, as well as Tennessee natives T.W. Fisher and Justin Ashburn. They join the likes of Nemechek, Robbins, Grindle, Harrison Burton, Hunter Baize, JJ Haley and Amber Slagle on that events early entry list.

Additional entries for both events are expected to continue to arrive in the weeks leading up to the event.

SpeedFest 2014 will once consist of a 200 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series special non-points event and a 125 lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance special non-points event. The 200 ARCA/CRA Super Series event will have a break at lap 100 and will count yellow flag laps up to lap 175. The 125 lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event will be a four tire only event and will count yellow flag laps up to lap 100.
