Fremont, Indiana (August 10, 2014) – The Vore's Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Series Powered by JEGS and the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stock Series Powered by JEGS took part in a special Sunday afternoon doubleheader in Northern Indiana. The fast 3/8s (0.375) mile semi-banked paved oval of Angola Motorsport Speedway, located just south of the Indiana / Michigan state line in Fremont, Indiana served as hosts of the Super Sunday Angola Twin 50s. This event marked the first appearance by both tours at the track since the 2011 racing season.

In the CRA Late Model Sportsman Series, Shawn Amor grabbed the lead from veteran Tommy Cook on lap 20
of the 50-lap main and the Plymouth, Indiana driver would set sail the rest of the way en route to his first
career CRA Feature Win. The 36-year-old driver of the #28 Amor Automotive / MSR Chassis / Chevrolet
secured his first win in just his fifth career start. 19-year-old Brandon Barcus finished a career high second,
after leading the first six laps, over Cook who wrapped up the podium. New points leader, Greg Van Alst
finished fourth as 18-year-old Billy Van Meter rounded out the top five.

14-year-old Hunter Jack made the most of his CRA debut as he finished sixth ahead of Jason Atkinson who
led for four laps before finishing seventh. Veteran Todd Gearhart, also making his CRA LMS debut was eighth
as 15-year-old Jack Dossey III, the Rookie of the Year points leader was shown ninth ahead of 19-year-old
rookie, J.P. Crabtree who completed the top 10. 18-year-old Quinnton Bear won his first career Allstar
Performance Fast Qualifier Award with a 15.286 while Gearhart and Robert Amos Jr., won the preliminary
Heat Races.

As for the CRA Street Stock Series, current Points Leader, Jason Atkinson took the lead from 14-year-old
Mason Keller on lap 14 of the 50-lap main and from there; it was all Atkinson as the 37-year-old in his #73
Oak Motors / Accelerator Racecars / Chevrolet. The New Castle, Indiana veteran would cruise to his third
Feature Win of the season in CRA SSS and fourth overall in CRA of 2014. Defending Series Champion, Dustin
Burge finished second over Jimmy Kirby while Keller who led for a total of six laps, tied a career high finish
with a fourth. Jake McElfresh, who led the first seven laps, finished off the top five. 

Danny Adams finished in sixth place while Phil Jenkins was seventh over J.J. Schafer who celebrated his
45th career start in the CRA Street Stocks with an eighth place effort. Josh Lank finished ninth as soon to be
14-year-old (On August 12th); James Kirby III would complete the top 10. Burge won the Allstar Performance
Fast Qualifier Award with a 16.387 as Schafer and Ricky Young collected the preliminary Heat Race victories.

Both tours will now take an extended vacation before coming back over the Labor Day Holiday Weekend. The CRA Late Model Sportsman Series and CRA Street Stock Series will join their CRA counterparts within the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance on Sunday-Monday, August 31-September 1st for the prestigious Labor Day World Stock Car Festival at the legendary 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Winchester Speedway, located just west of the Indiana / Ohio state line in Winchester, Indiana.

The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will race on Sunday, August 31st as will the Vore's Welding Compact Touring Series while the Top Speed ICAR Modified Tour join the remaining three touring series' within Champion Racing Association (CRA) Powered by JEGS on Labor Day Monday, September 1st. There is a Practice day scheduled for Saturday, August 30th at the track from 1:00-5:00p.m.

The CRA Late Model Sportsman Series will be making their 32nd all-time appearance in Winchester, Indiana as Two-Time Series Champion (2011 & 2006); Keith Sterkowitz leads the way with four victories. Rick Rinehart and another Two-Time Series titlist (2010 & 2009), Charlie Hanna have three wins apiece. Steve Blair, Justin Alsip, Terry Jones, Scott Neal and Tommy Cook all have two triumphs as 12 other competitors have single wins each.

For the CRA Street Stock Series, the 2014 version of the World Stock Car Festival will be a milestone of sorts as this race will be the 40th all-time appearance on the famed high-banks. Beau Mitchell leads the way with an impressive six trips to victory lane while 2011 Series Champion, Jeff Lane and Jason Thompson each have four victories. Bret Miles and Carl Muffley each have three wins while Three-Time Series Champion (2009, 2007 & 2006), Joe Beaver as well as Calvin Parham, Josh Burton, Rich Boyer and Bret Miles Jr., each have a pair of triumphs. Nine other drivers all have a single win.
