Leeck Remains Top Championship Contender with Strong Springport Run

Huntersville, North Carolina (September 22, 2014) – Dan Leeck finished fourth Saturday night in the Michigan Cup 100 Presented by JEGS.com at the high banks of Springport Motor Speedway. Extending his JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour points lead to 57, just two races remain before a champion will be crowned.

Leeck qualified second, after the invert he then started the race in from the fourth position. Racing in the top five all evening, he showed once again why he is a championship contender.

"The car got super tight," Leeck said after the race. "That's all I had in the end. It was still a solid night for us; my team worked hard all weekend, I can't thank them enough."

This coming weekend, the Dan Leeck Racing team heads to Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Indiana for the running of the McGunegill Engine Performance CRA Fall Brawl 100.
