Hoosier State teenager returning to JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour after final ARCA Racing Series event (Special from J.J. Haley Racing)
September 19, 2014
Winamac, Indiana (September 19, 2014) – As 15-year-old J.J. Haley begins to wind down
a very busy 2014 racing season, one of the remaining events on the schedule calls for a
return trip to the site of his first ever win in a Late Model. The fast 3/8s (0.375) mile semi-
banked paved oval  of Springport Motor Speedway, located north of Jackson and south of
Lansing in Springport, Michigan for the Michigan Cup 100 Presented by JEGS.com. The
JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance returns for their second
and final appearance and Haley is ready.

Back on May 4th in the JEGS/CRA season opener for points, Haley's #99 Braun Ability /
Chevrolet went to victory lane after winning the Cabin Fever 100 Presented by JEGS.com.
"We're excited to be back racing with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. We've been looking
forward to this race after winning back in the spring." The Winamac, Indiana driver stated.
"After a good showing at Winchester Speedway over the Labor Day Weekend even after
some early trouble, I'm confident in my crew that we will have a good showing this
weekend." He added.

Haley fulfilled his last obligation with Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Racing Series
Presented by Menards back on September 13th at the famed southern Indiana high-banks
of Salem Speedway (IN). In the Federated Car Care Fall Classic 200 Presented by
Presented by JayC Food Stores, Haley started 10th and after going a couple of laps down, fought his way back to an eighth place finish.

"That may have been the oddest race I have ever raced." Laughed the Hoosier State teenager. "We had a right front tire go bad on us and feel back quickly. Then the race went 147 laps green flag from the start of the race and there was one caution the whole race. When we came in under green flag to put four tires on we went back out and was at least three seconds faster than anyone else on the track. Got two laps back under green and then we cut a left rear with 16 to go, fighting for fourth place." He explained.

"I can't thank everyone enough; my pit crew and crew were on it. Always awesome to see the fans in the stands, and my family for coming to support me." Haley appreciatively stated. "I also really need to thank Tom Venturini and everyone at Venturini Motorsports for the opportunity to race there equipment this season. It is sincerely appreciated. In six starts for Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Racing Series, Haley scored one top five finish, an impressive third at Elko Speedway (MN) back on June 21st in the Akona 250 Presented by Federated Car Care.

He also recorded four top 10 finishes and one Menards Pole Award, which also came at Elko. Back on May 18th at Toledo Speedway (OH), Haley became the youngest driver in ARCA Racing Series history to start a race and at Elko became the youngest ever Pole Award Winner. In both cases and in rewriting both records, he erased Kyle Benjamin's name

Amongst the season accomplishments for Haley in addition to his ARCA exploits include his first ever win in a Late Model when he scored the victory in the 2014 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Season Opener at Springport Motor Speedway (MI) on May 4th. Despite missing several races in JEGS/CRA, Haley is still 12th in the points standings as in addition to his win, he also has five top five finishes and six top 10 showings. Finally in four ARCA/CRA Super Series starts, he has one top 10, which was a ninth place effort at Flat Rock Speedway (MI) back on August 16th.

Tentative plans call for Haley to make two more starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series with one event within the East division at Dover International Speedway (DE) on September 26th. Then the possibility of one more race with the West series at Phoenix International Raceway (AZ) on November 6th. Remaining plans also call for Haley to race in the Snowflake 100, which is part of the 47th annual Snowball Derby Weekend at Five Flags Speedway (FL) on December 6th.

For the remainder of the 2014 racing season, Haley's black #99 J.J. Haley Racing Chevrolets as well as the rest of the fleet of J.J. Haley Racing entries with Crew Chief, Bobby Blount calling the shots on top of the pit box all season long, will sport sponsorship decals and support from Braun Ability as well as Braun Auto Group, Two Guys Mechanical, JMR Trucking, T.J. Racing Lubricants and M.P.H. Promotions.
