16-Year-Old Hunter Baize Ready For The Final Five JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Events; Winchester Speedway Next
Labor Day Weekend World Stock Car Festival kicks off final stretch run (Special from Hunter Baize Racing)
August 18, 2014
Bremen, Kentucky (August 18, 2014) – With five races remaining in the chase for the
2014 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance championship,
Hunter Baize knows he has his work cut out for him. The 16-year-old will head into the
final stretch run in sixth place in the title chase. He's only 21 points outside of the top five,
but it'll be a tall order to catch the top of the points as the Bremen, Kentucky teenager is
112 markers away from the points lead. Not an impossible task, but one that will require
a near perfect stretch run.

The next event on the JEGS/CRA schedule will kick off the  prestigious Labor Day
Weekend World Stock  Car Festival at the famed 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval
of Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana on Sunday, August 31st. The Winchester
100 Presented by JEGS.com will highlight the Sunday night portion of the weekend as
Baize and his Hunter Baize Racing / VanDoorn Racing Development team know how
important Winchester is with two of the final five races on the schedule to be contested at
the Eastern Indiana high-banks.

"We finally got a good finish in the last race at Auto City. First real good showing since
we won at Columbus over the Memorial Day Weekend. Hopefully we can carry that
momentum into the break and head to one of my favorite stops on the schedule. I just
love Winchester Speedway." Stated the Blue Grass State teenager. "Johnny (VanDoorn)
has been real strong there and hopefully I can take what he has to offer for that event and get back into victory lane. Really do want to end the year strong." He added.

In Baize's last race, the Auto City 100 Presented by JEGS.com at Auto City Speedway (MI) on August 9th, Baize recovered from an early race incident to post a podium finish of a third. "It was great to finally capitalize on the speed we've had this season. The VRD guys have given us great a great car everywhere we've been this year." Baize continued. "We were blessed enough to slip by a ton of wrecks, or just receive minor damage. When we had to pit with about 30 to go, I thought our chance at a top five was finished. But we were able to rally back to a third place finish." He ended.

In eight JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour points race, Baize is sixth in the title chase with one win, which came in the Agroscapes 100 Presented by SizzleMarine.com at Columbus Motor Speedway (OH) back on May 24th. Overall he has two top five finishes which account for his two top 10 showings. Baize also has one Fast Qualifier Award, which came at Berlin Raceway (MI) on July 18th. He's just 21 points outside of the top five in the JEGS/CRA title chase.

All of Baize's red and black #13 VanDoorn Racing Development / Ford Fusions will carry sponsorship decals and support throughout the remainder of the 2014 racing season from Mountaineer Firewood as well as Kawasaki, Steel City Bolt, Threaded Fasteners, T.J.
