Birch Run, Michigan (February 3, 2014) – After a banner season for Birch Run driver Dan
Leeck, he looks to take his career to the next level in 2014. Dan Leeck & his Dan Leeck
Racing team are ready for a run at both the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing
Championship & the JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance
Championship. The team has been hard at work preparing a new car and is looking
forward to its debut in just a few short weeks.

“2013 was truly a season that my team and I won’t forget,” the Michigan driver stated.
“This season, I believe we will be stronger then ever. I expect to be a contender for both
the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing Championship & the JEGS/CRA All Stars
Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance Championship,” he added.

Dan Leeck began racing at the age of 14. Now almost a decade later, his resume boasts
several fast time awards and feature wins. The 2013 season was a breakthrough year for
the almost 24 year old, finishing 3rd in the JEGS/CRA overall point standings after a fierce
battle with the eventual champion, Cody Coughlin. Season highlights include 2 top 5
finishes, 7 Top 10 finishes and setting fast time during Winchester 400 Weekend for the
JEGS/CRA 100 lap event on Friday October 11th with a speed of 15.944, his first career
JEGS/CRA Fast Time Award.

For the 2014 season, Neil May, will serve as Crew Chief of the #12 Mr. Asphalt Chevrolet SS. May, a long time racer himself, is best known for his work with Outlaw Super Late Model standout Johnny Belott and NASCAR Sprint Cup driver David Stremme. Tom Renner, car owner, will also serve as Car Chief. Other Dan Leeck Racing crewmembers include Phillip Smalley, Matt Hogan & Jessica Hobson.

Dan Leeck Racing will field a Black & Orange #12 Chevrolet SS this season. Marketing partners include Mr. Asphalt, Alta Equipment Company, Diesel Truck Sales, Wellman Excavating, Phil Harper Motorsports, Hightower Racing Transmission and NEXT Motorsports Marketing. The thankful & humbled driver added, “Racing is all about the people around you and the support you receive. I can’t thank my parents enough for everything they have done for myself and my racing career”.

Dan Leeck & his Dan Leeck racing team will kick-off the 2014 season at the 48th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing in New Smyrna Beach, Florida at New Smyrna Speedway. “We had terrible luck last year, but showed good speed. I feel like this year, we are coming to this event better prepared. I’m ready and I know my team is too,” the excited Michigan driver said. The Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing kicks off February 14, 2014. Following the 48th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing, they will set their sights on the 2014 JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour Championship beginning at Springport Motor Speedway in Springport, Michigan on Sunday, May 4, 2014.
