Glen Ellyn, Illinois (October 3, 2014) – Any time Trent Snyder decides he's going to
race anywhere, his name goes right to the top of the list of drivers to watch for that
race weekend. It's shown over the past four seasons of JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour
Presented by Chevrolet Performance. In 15 starts, he's won in exactly 1/3 of the
races he's entered with five career victories, good for tied for second all-time in series
history with current NASCAR Nationwide Series Overall and Rookie Points Leader,
Chase Elliott and behind only 2012 Series Champion, Daniel Hemric's eight career
victories.
Snyder will look to break the tie with Elliott on Friday, October 10th as the JEGS/
CRA All-Stars Tour kicks off the 43rd Running of the Winchester 400 Weekend with
the Winchester 100 Presented by JEGS.com. The final race of the 2014 racing
season for the tour will have Snyder, who looks to complete the clean sweep of the
year at the famed 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval after winning over the
Labor Day Holiday Weekend at the famed facility in the World Stock Car Festival.
"Winning Labor Day it was super cool and to tie Chase Elliot for second all time in
JEGS/.CRA wins and tied for most wins at Winchester in JEGS as well at two
apiece, that's pretty special." The 30-year-old stated as he and his team prepare for
the trip east from Glen Ellyn, Illinois."I'm just really excited to head back to one of
my favorite tracks in the country. We have won the last two races we have entered there and I know we have a great chance of doing it again." "Having Great Deals Savings Magazine on board is a great feeling. We have won four out of our five JEGS/CRA wins with their support over the years. I can't thank Jim and Kathy Mougeotte enough for all of their help and support." He added.
The second Winchester race will be Snyder's fourth JEGS/CRA event of the 2014 racing season. In addition to the win, the driver originally from Ironton, Minnesota raced at Springport Motor Speedway (MI) on May 4th and at Anderson Speedway (IN) on July 26th. "We've had an up and down season really. At Springport we just missed the set up while at Anderson, we had an amazing car, won the Fast Qualifier Award but then we got taken out early, which was a heartbreaker going for four wins in a row." He explained.
In addition to his JEGS/CRA starts, the soon to be 31-year-old (On October 27th) also raced with the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS also at Anderson in the prestigious Redbud 300 on June 14th where he ran as high as in the top five with his crate motored car."We had a really good car before getting caught up in a wreck there." He stated.
Snyder then continued; "We're all really excited to finish out this year strong and work on some exciting new things for next season. Looking to do some more ARCA/CRA Super Series races as well as possibly some driver development deals with the JEGS/CRA car. It all depends on funding, so we're always looking for great people to market with our winning operation." He ended.
For the Winchester 400 Weekend, Snyder's familiar Black and Blue #88 will be sporting sponsorship decals on the side of his Chevrolet SS from Great Deals Savings Magazine as well as Medwest Associates, OvernightWraps.com, Arthrex Incorporated, JEGS.com, RaceCarHelp.com, Phil Harper Motorsports by Ilmor, Five Star Racecar Bodies, Hedman Husler Hedders, Advanced Racing Suspension and M.P.H.
