October 27, 2014
DeWitt, Michigan (October 27, 2014) – As the 2014 racing season has now drawn
to a close in the Midwestern United States, Chad Finley is not quite done yet before
the calendar turns over to 2015. The DeWitt, Michigan driver has two more races left
on the schedule starting this Friday-Saturday, October 31st-November 1st with one
of the biggest events of the season for Pro Late Models; The 30th Running of the
All-American 400 Weekend at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN) in Nashville,
Tennessee.

"This is a big race for sure for us. Nashville has a lot of history to it and to be a part
of this race is huge." Stated the 22-year-old. "We have had a lot of time to go
through the car and make some minor changes and we are geared up and ready for
this one." He added. Finley has enjoyed success in 2014 in limited PLM
appearances, all with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet
Performance. In four races, Finley scored a win at Owosso Speedway (MI) on
September 6 in addition to three top fives and two Fast Qualifier Awards, both
breaking the track record.

The fast 0.596 mile high-banked paved oval in the Music City will host teams from
all over the country in the longest distance race for Pro Late Models in the country.
Traditionally a Super Late Model race, track officials elected to make the event a
Pro Late Model event, which has drawn interest from all over North America.

"With the new format this year the competition will be absolutely tough. Lots of good drivers entered so we need to be on our game that’s for sure." Finley continued. "We had a good car here last year and ran in the top ten all day and finished eighth so we are definitely looking to improve on that."

Once the All-American Weekend is complete, all attention will then turn to the 47th Annual Snowball Derby on December 3-7th at Five Flags Speedway (FL) in Pensacola, Florida. With over a month to prepare for the biggest Super Late Model race in the country, Finley and crew know that there's not a moment to spare if they want to contend for the win in the 300-lap main which concludes Derby week on Sunday afternoon, December 7th.

"The snowball is the granddaddy of them all. We have been getting things in order for that race also." Added the Great Lakes State driver. "We had a lot of fun there last year and we learned a lot so really looking forward to that one. Going to focus on Nashville but the derby is on my mind also." He ended.

All of Finley's #42 entries will carry sponsorship support and decals for the final two events of 2014 from Auto Value Parts Stores & Certified Service Centers as well as AutoParts2020.com, The Air Lift Company, Great Lakes Helicopter, XLT Engineering, NorthsideTowing.net, Five Star Racecar Bodies, Bassett Racing Wheels, Affordable Tire & Service, Bosch Spark Plugs, Hyperco Suspension and M.P.H.
