Rolla, Missouri (October 27, 2014) – Kevin Crider Motorsports of Rolla, MO took KCM Chassis number 001 for its maiden voyage at the Historic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday October 25, in preparation for the 30th Annual All American 400 and it was deemed a complete success as the car was fast right out of the trailer.

2004 Race winner Chuck Barnes Jr will pilot the KCM entry and was excited about the new car and how well it did in practice. "The car is great, we ran fast laps right out of the box, and had no problems all day. Kevin has built a great chassis as every adjustment we made on the car had an immediate effect." said Barnes. "I am looking forward to next weekend and hopefully bringing home another guitar" he added.

KCM has developed a new chassis design using the latest technology in construction and materials. The chassis is one of the lightest on the market today allowing you to put weight where you want to, instead of where you have to. The car is built with as little rolling drag as possible. "With a crate motor package, and the template rules, you have to find speed within the design. We have spent a lot of time and money on the parts and design, and they have come together just as I had hoped; fast, reliable and adjustable. I could not be happier with this chassis and we look forward to seeing what it can do." stated Kevin Crider.

Chuck Barnes Jr. started racing go-karts competitively in January 1994 when he was 11 years old winning several championships through the 1997 season. In 2000 Barnes Jr. claimed the Salem Speedway Street Stock Championship with three feature wins, making him the youngest driver in the history of Salem Speedway to win a championship.

Barnes Jr. moved up to compete in a late model starting in the 2001 season. Barnes Jr. came back the next season and captured the 2004 CRA Super Series Points Championship getting his first series win along with nine top five finishes, of which four were second place finishes and eleven top ten finishes. He led the series with four fast qualifier awards during the 2004 season.

Barnes Jr. them showed the racing community he was for real by winning the All American 400 at the famed Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, Tennessee, one of the most prestigious late model events in the country. Barnes Jr. out qualified 64 teams that attempted to make the event and then got the win by saving his tires and making the winning pass with 15 laps to go against the best late model drivers in the country.

KCM and Chuck Barnes Jr will be a team that can win the AA 400. "We just have to qualify well and stay out of trouble. Hopefully with a good strategy and a little bit luck, we will be there at the end."
