Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks at Anderson Speedway Saturday
Third of Five appearances on the fast 1/4 mile in 2014

Salem, Indiana (July 8, 2014) – The Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Powered by
JEGS will be back in action this Saturday at Anderson Speedway located in Anderson,
IN, in the third of five series events at the fast quarter mile. Saturday’s event will be the
sixth event of the season for the series that has seen Jason Atkinson in victory lane at
the season opener at Lucas Oil Raceway on April 6th, Josh Poore winning the first 200
lap event of the CRA Street Stock Triple Crown Series at Shadybowl Speedway on April
19th and at Anderson on May 3rd, Brett Hudson won the second 200 lap Triple Crown
event at Kentucky Motor Speedway on May 25th and Bret Miles Jr. the most recent
winner in the final 200 lap Triple Crown event at Anderson Speedway on June 21st.
Atkinson comes into Saturday’s event as the current series point’s leader after winning
the CRA Street Stock Triple Crown Points Championship and the $1000 cash bonus and
Crumrine Buckle Manufacturing Championship Buckle. Atkinson has built a commanding
66 point lead with steady top three finishes in the last three events and the win at Lucas
Oil Raceway for car owner Danny Acrey.
2012 series Champion Jimmy Kirby comes into Saturday’s event second in series points
with a season high second place finish in the Shadybowl event. 2013 series Champion
Dustin Burge is in third place, only four points behind Kirby. Rookie Jeff Johnson is in fourth place, he is 23 points behind Burge. Fellow Rookie Brandon Mefford is fifth in points, he is eight points behind Johnson.
Poore leads the Anderson Speedway Street Stocks points heading into Saturday night’s event with three feature victories so far this season. Burge is currently in second place in Anderson points, James Kirby is in third place, Andrew Cook in fourth and Danny Adams is in fifth place.
Pit Gates open on Saturday at 3:30pm. Practice is set to begin at 5pm with qualifying at 6:30pm. The race program will begin at 8pm and will include a 75 lap feature for the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks. Also in action will be the Anderson Speedway Nash FM Thundercars, FWD Figure 8 Cars plus Thunder Roadsters.
