Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks at Anderson Speedway Saturday 

First of Five appearances at the fast 1/4 mile for the Series

Salem, Indiana (April 30, 2014) – The Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Powered by

JEGS will be back in action this Saturday at Anderson Speedway located in Anderson,

IN, in the first of five series events at the fast quarter mile. Saturday’s event will be the

third event of the season for the series that has seen Jason Atkinson in victory lane at the

season opener at Lucas Oil Raceway on April 6th and Josh Poore winning the first event

of the CRA Street Stock Triple Crown Series at Shady Bowl Speedway on April 19th.

Saturday’s event will be a tune-up for the final event in the CRA Street Stock Triple Crown

Series which will be a 200 lapper at Anderson on June 21st.

2012 series Champion Jimmy Kirby comes into Saturday’s event as the current series

point’s leader after a third place finish at Lucas Oil Raceway and a great run from the

back of the field to get second at Shadybowl. Kirby has a three point lead over second

place Atkinson. Rookie Brandon Mefford is in third place, he is 10 points behind Atkinson.

2013 series Champion Dustin Burge and Rookie Jeff Johnson are tied for fourth place,

they are 22 points behind Mefford.

Burge is coming off a great fifth place finish in the ARCA/CRA Super Series event last

Saturday night at Anderson Speedway. Burge was awarded the one race ride by CRA for

claiming last year’s CRA Street Stock Championship thanks to support from JEGS, Motion Motors and Scott Neal Racing.

Atkinson scored two series victories at Anderson Speedway during the 2013 season. Poore won the series 200 lap event while Burge and Kirby also picked up one win a piece.

The Anderson Speedway Street Stocks have had one event so far in 2014 on April 12th were Poore got the victory over second place Burge and third place James Kirby III.

Pit Gates open on Saturday at 3:30pm. Practice is set to begin at 5pm with qualifying at 6:30pm. The race program will begin at 8pm and will include a 75 lap feature for the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks. Also in action will be the Anderson Speedway FWD Oval cars plus Thunder Roadsters and Super Karts.
