Big Awards up for 2014 CRA Champions in the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and Stealth Trailer CRA Street Stocks     

2013 Champions, Mark Lambert (LMS) & Dustin Burge (SS) to compete in CRA's Top Levels

Salem, Indiana (February 4, 2014) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS

recently announced that they will once again have the very popular JEGS Win a

Championship and a Ride Program for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman

Powered by JEGS and the Stealth Trailer CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS for the

upcoming 2014 season. The Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman will begin their

2014 season on Saturday, March 29th at Anderson Speedway while the Stealth Trailer

CRA Street Stocks will begin their 2014 season on Sunday, April 6th in the Cabin Fever

Championships at Lucas Oil Raceway.

The 2014 champion in the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman division will win an

all-expense paid ride in a select ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS event during

the 2015 season.  The 2014 Champion in the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks will

receive an all-expense paid ride in a select JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour presented by

Chevrolet Performance event during the 2015 season.  Both these awards will be in

addition to the other standard cash and contingency point fund awards the champions will

receive.

For CRA, the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and Stealth Trailer CRA Street

Stocks build a natural progression through racing with CRA. According to CRA's Glenn

Luckett, "We have successfully moved racers through the divisions over the years.  While

racing with CRA they get exposure to the top series and teams, and become comfortable

with making that next step, or getting recognition by racing on the same card."

With the help of JEGS, Motion Motors and Scott Neal Racing, 2013 Vore’s Welding CRA

Late Model Sportsman Champion Mark Lambert will be racing in the ARCA/CRA Super

Series event at Lucas Oil Raceway on July 25th, as part of the Brickyard week festivities

in Indy. 2013 Stealth Trailer CRA Street Stocks Champion Dustin Burge is tentatively

scheduled to compete in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event the following night at his

home track, Anderson Speedway. Both will compete in cars provided by Scott Neal

Racing.

“We are excited for these young drivers,” noted Scott Neal of Scott Neal Racing.  “They

are talented drivers that might not have had this type of chance otherwise, so this is going

to be a special time for all of us.  My Dad, Jack, from Motion Motors, deals with the Street

Stock and Late Model Sportsman guys on a regular basis as the parts and tire dealer, so

it’s fun for him to be part of this program as well. We expect it will be a great time for

everyone…hopefully creating some great memories and experience for Mark and Dustin, as well as their families and friends.”

The 2014 season is just around the corner, and the contenders for this year’s titles will know that there is even more on the line.  They will also get to see the experience that last year’s Champions will have when they climb behind the wheel of their high-profile rides.
