Salem, Indiana (November 10, 2014) – Champion Racing Association Powered by
JEGS officials have released the 2015 schedules for both the Vore’s Welding CRA
Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS and the Stealth Trailers CRA Street
Stocks Powered by JEGS. 2015 will be the 10th season of competition as a series
for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Series and the 11th season for
the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks.
Both the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and Stealth Trailers CRA
Street Stocks schedules will include events at Lucas Oil Raceway, which will all be
part of a new Mini-Series for each division at the 0.686 mile semi-banked paved
oval, located just west of Indianapolis in Brownsburg, Indiana. Lucas Oil Raceway
will crown its own 2015 Champions in each division.
The Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman have a total of 12 events on the
2015 schedule, with six events total at Lucas Oil Raceway, four of those events
will be CRA point events, while all six will count as point events for the Lucas Oil
Raceway championship. There will be a 125 lap event at Lucas Oil Raceway that
will pay $2000 to win. The series will have four events at Anderson Speedway, the
track that has hosted more CRA events than any other since 1997, including a 100
lap event as part of the huge Redbud 300 Weekend. The series will also have its
two traditional events on the High Banks of Winchester Speedway over Labor Day
Weekend and Winchester 400 Weekend.
The Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks have a total of 14 events on the 2015
schedule, including the very popular $3000 to win, 200 lap Street Stock Triple Crown events at Shadybowl Speedway, Kentucky Motor Speedway and at Anderson Speedway. The series will have a total of six events at Lucas Oil Raceway, four of those events will be CRA point events, while all six will count as point events for the Lucas Oil Raceway championship. There will be a 125 lap event at Lucas Oil Raceway that will pay $2000 to win. The series will have four events at Anderson Speedway, including the Triple Crown 200 lap event. The series will also have its two traditional events on the High Banks of Winchester Speedway over Labor Day Weekend and Winchester 400 Weekend.
Champion Racing Association Officials have also announced an increase in purse for both series regular events, the increase will be from the fifth place finisher on back through the field including the start money.
