Avon, Indiana (October 8, 2014) – It's been an adventurous rookie season in the
Vore's Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Series Powered by JEGS for Quinnton
Bear. The Avon, Indiana freshman has been at or near the front of the field since the
fourth race of the 2014 racing season, his first in a full bodied stock car. A career
high, at the time, second place finish in the 100-lap prelude to the Redbud 300
made fans and onlookers stand up and take notice of the 18-year-old. In the previous
three events leading into the race on June 13th, his best finish was only an 11th.

Fast forward to Labor Day Monday, September 1st when Bear crossed the start/
finish line first at the legendary 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of
Winchester Speedway (IN). Unfortunately post-race tech took the win away from the
Hoosier State teenager. However he would redeem himself in the very next race at
Anderson Speedway (IN) on September 13th when he took the lead from CRA Late
Model Sportsman Series veteran, Jason Atkinson with 12 laps to go to secure the
win.

Now Bear is looking for one more piece of redemption in what will be his final start in
the CRA Late Model Sportsman Series. Before moving up to Pro Late Models for the
'post-season' for the remainder of the 2014 racing season, Bear and his Quinnton
Bear Racing Team will return to the famed high-banks of Winchester during the tracks prestigious 43rd Running of the Winchester 400 Weekend on October 10-12th. The CRA Late Model Sportsman Series will be a part of the Saturday, October 11th show with the 2014 Season Championship race; the Vore's Welding 50.

"Our Rookie year in the CRA Late Model Sportsman Series was great, even with a few hiccups along the way," Bear smiled as he and his team prepare for their highly anticipated return to the Winchester, Indiana speed plant. "We definitely overachieved on our goals we had set for the 2014 season with the win at Anderson and a few second place finishes. It's a great series and a great stepping stone towards our next goal for me and this entire team." He added.

In nine CRA Late Model Sportsman Series races, he has one victory as well as two top five finishes which also account for his two top 10s. He also scored one Allstar Performance Fast Qualifier Award which came at Angola Motorsport Speedway (IN) back on August 10th. Currently he's sixth overall in the point's standings and third in the Rookie of the Year points. No matter what happens at Winchester, he can't fall any further than seventh in the final overall tallies and will finish third in the final freshman standings.

After Winchester, Bear will then look to get a jump start on the 2015 season and make his Pro Late Model debut in the 30th Running of the All-American 400 on October 31-November 1st at another historic facility; the 0.596 mile high-banked paved oval of Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN) in Nashville, Tennessee. Tentative plans also call for Bear to head even further south to Five Flags Speedway (LF) in Pensacola, Florida to compete in the Snowflake 100 on Saturday, December 6th which headlines the Saturday portion of the prestigious 47th Annual Snowball Derby.

2015 plans call for Bear to make a run at the Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie of the Year title in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance. He will race in the JEGS/CRA portion of SpeedFest 2015 at the 4/10s (0.400) mile semi-banked paved oval of Watermelon Capital Speedway (GA) located 90 minutes north of the Florida / Georgia state line and south of Macon in Cordele, Georgia on January 23-25th. After SpeedFest 2015, tentative plans call for Bear to travel down to New Smyrna Speedway (FL) to compete in the Pro Late Models portion of 2015 Florida Speedweeks.

For the remainder of the 2014 racing season, Bear's #94 Advance Auto Sales / Chevrolet will have addition sponsorship decals from Sam Soni Incorporated as well as Reynolds Body Shop, Bear's Lawn Service, PGG Enterprises, McGunegill Engine Performance and M.P.H. Promotions. A new website is under development and will be available later in 2014.
