Concord, North Carolina (September 26, 2014) – For the second-straight season, Speed51.com has
partnered with the Champion Racing Association powered by JEGS (CRA) to present the Most Popular
Driver voting and awards for the sanctioning body’s four touring series.
It’s time for the passionate fans of CRA racing in the Midwest and beyond to make their voices heard as
polls are now open for the 2014 CRA Most Popular Driver voting on Speed51.com. Fans can choose their
favorite racer from one to all four of CRA’s divisions, the ARCA/CRA Super Series powered by JEGS, the
JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance, the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model
Sportsman and the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks.
“We are really excited to have the Speed51.com Most Popular Driver Awards again for the 2014 season,”
said Glenn Luckett, CRA Series Director. “Those awards were greatly appreciated last year by the award
winners and the participation by the CRA fans was awesome last year. It’s great to have those drivers recognized in each of our divisions.”
The winner from each series, the ARCA/CRA Super Series, JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, CRA Late Model Sportsman Series and CRA Street Stock Series will each receive a free hero card design from 51 Sports, the parent company of Speed51.com, as well as a custom 3′x5′ vinyl banner to show off their Most Popular Driver status.
“CRA features some of the best racing in the country and we’re proud to have such a strong relationship with Glenn, R.J. (Scott), their staff and the teams,” said Bob Dillner, Speed51.com owner and motorsports broadcaster. “With the phenomenal racing on the track comes a passionate fan base, and that’s certainly what the drivers of the CRA divisions have. It’ll be a lot of fun to see which drivers promote their votes the best and have the most loyal following in this year’s MPD voting.”
In order to be eligible for the Speed51.com CRA Most Popular Driver voting, drivers must have been in the top 10 in each series’ driver point standings as of September 25, 2014. Voting will end at 11:59pm ET on December 14, 2014. The winners will be announced at the CRA Awards Ceremony in Indianapolis on January 3, 2015.
