Chad Finley To Do Triple-Duty In NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, ARCA/CRA Super Series & JEGS/CRA All-Stars
Tour
Dover International Speedway & Lucas Oil Raceway the sites for rare triple-duty weekend (Special from Chad Finley Racing)
September 25, 2014
DeWitt, Michigan (September 25, 2014) – It's been a busy 2014 racing season for
Chad Finley and the entire Chad Finley Racing Team. From template Super and Pro
Late Models to outlaw Super and Pro Late Models to dirt Super Late Models and the
NASCAR K&N Pro Series, Finley has raced a wide range of machines throughout
the year. Over the weekend of September 26-28th, the DeWitt, Michigan driver and
his team will attempt a rare triple header slate of events that will see the team travel
over 1,600 miles and compete in three different racecars at two different facilities.

On Friday, September 26th, Finley will race at the 'Monster Mile' of Dover
International Speedway (DE) in Dover, Delaware in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series
East season finale; the Drive Sober 150. "This is going to be one of the busiest
weekends I have ever had racing. Really looking forward to getting in the NKNPSE
Car at Dover." The 22-year-old stated as the CFR team prepares race cars for the
Lucas Oil and Shane Whitbeck and Marc Browning get the K&N car ready.

"We have had good fast race cars the past two K&N races, but we just have been
bitten by a string of bad luck." Finley continued. "The last time when we were in
Iowa we had a rare engine issue. Dover is a race track that is really fast and I have
never been to it so looking forward to getting in the car and getting on the race track
and hopefully have a good showing."

Then right after the Dover race, the CFR Team will make the all-night trek west to Lucas Oil Raceway (IN), located west of Indianapolis in Brownsburg, Indiana to compete in both the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance portions of the McGunegill Engine Performance CRA Fall Brawl 2014 Presented by EDCO Welding.

"Still trying to find that elusive win at LOR. We've been so close there. We have finished second and third so many times in both the Super and the Crate car. Plus we've won some Fast Qualifier Awards there too. But a win is what we all really want." Finley continued. "It would really mean the world to us to pick up a win or two and carry some momentum into the post season. We have been working on some new things with our cars and hopefully it will pay off for us down in Indy this weekend." He added.

In Finley's last race, which marked his debut with the Great Lakes Helicopter Racing Team and there Outlaw Super Late Model at the Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway (OH), Finley came away with an eighth place finish in the rain shortened event. "A big thanks to John &* Meloney Lojko for the opportunity to drive for them at Toledo. We unloaded with a really fast car. It had great speed and we showed that qualifying." Finley, who qualified third, remarked.

"The race was a bit of a challenge I think for everybody because of the threat of rain. We were biding our time there in the first segment and knew the rain was coming again and started to reel in the leaders when unfortunately the right rear tire went down and put us back to the eighth position which isn't indicative of the speed we had and capability of what we had. Looking forward to getting back in the outlaw car at Sandusky (Speedway for Main Event XXVII on October 10-12th)." He ended.

For the rest of the 2014 racing season, Finley will run in mainly high-profile Super Late Model races throughout the country primarily in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS. He'll also race in events within the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, ARCA Midwest Tour and the Southern Super Series. On some off weekends, Finley will also compete in an Outlaw Bodied Super Late Model in the Great Lakes Helicopter Main Event Series and has added some shows on dirt in his new UMP DIRTcar Late Model at select tracks around his home state of Michigan.

All of Finley's #42 entries will carry sponsorship support and decals all season long from Auto Value Parts Stores & Certified Service Centers as well as AutoParts2020.com, The Air Lift Company, Great Lakes Helicopter, XLT Engineering, NorthsideTowing.net, Five Star Racecar Bodies, Bassett Racing Wheels, Affordable Tire & Service, Bosch Spark Plugs, Hyperco Suspension, Superior Racing Images and M.P.H.
