'Home Game' the biggest of the season for Brandon Oakley Racing (Special from Brandon Oakley Racing)
September 12, 2014
Beavercreek, Ohio (September 12, 2014) – The one race that Brandon Oakley has had
circled on his calendar with permanent marker since the ARCA/CRA Super Series
Powered by JEGS schedule came out is finally here. The Buckminn's D&D Harley-
Davidson / Oakley Blacktop 125 is set for Sunday, September 14th at the tricky 1/3
(0.333) mile semi-banked paved oval of Kil-Kare Speedway, located just five minutes from
home in Xenia, Ohio. It's the ultimate 'home game' that the driver from near-by
Beavercreek, Ohio has been waiting for all season long.

"I'm really excited for Kil-Kare. We have a really good car and I know the place better than
anywhere." The 20-year-old hometown favorite stated. "If we can stay out of trouble we
have a very good shot at our first ever win in the ARCA/CRA Super Series.  We've won a
few this season, especially at Kil-Kare, but it would mean so much to finally go to victory
lane in a CRA race.  Especially at home.  This is our biggest race of the year by far." He
added.

The three-time Kil-Kare Feature winner in weekly Late Model competition will also have a
teammate for the weekend; his Crew Chief, Gary Estes will climb behind the wheel of a
back-up Oakley Racing machine, numbered #151 for the race as well. Estes is a former
multi-time track champion at the Southwest Ohio speed plant and actually qualified fourth
quick in this race one season ago.

Oakley, the recently crowned 2014 Robbie Dean Memorial Series Champion was at the historic 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banks of Winchester Speedway (IN) over the Labor Day Holiday Weekend for the tracks prestigious World Stock Car Festival. The extended holiday weekend began on August 31st with Oakley participating in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance portion of the weekend; the Winchester 100 Presented by JEGS.com. Then the following afternoon, he was right back in action with the ARCA/CRA Super Series in the headlining event of the weekend; the Winchester 100.

After dropping out of the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour race just 12 laps in due to a faulty clutch, he responded on Labor Day Monday in the ARCA/CRA Super Series with an impressive sixth place finish. "I was pretty happy with our run at Winchester. Even with only a few laps in the JEGS/CRA race. In the ARCA/CRA race, we were very loose on the long run, but we know what we need to do to be better when we come back for 400 weekend." Oakley ended.

Despite limited ARCA/CRA appearances, Oakley is actually 12th in the drivers points standings, 48 points outside of the coveted top 10, with one top five finish, an impressive fifth in the prestigious Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway (IN) back on June 14th. He also now has three top 10 finishes in those limited races. He also has two starts in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour where he won his first career CRA Fast Qualifier Award back on May 24th at Columbus Motor Speedway (OH). He finished eighth in the Agroscapes 100 Presented by SizzleMarine.com & JEGS.com.

For the rest of the 2014 racing season for Oakley and his revitalized Brandon Oakley Racing Team will finish out the ARCA/CRA Super Series schedule while also hoping to run select events within the three remaining JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour races.
