Wes Griffith Jr. Takes Lead in Cometic Gasket Hard-Charger Standings

Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year point’s leader Wes Griffith Jr. has taken over
the lead in the Cometic Gasket Hard-Charger standings after 11 ARCA/CRA Super Series
events so far this season. Griffith Jr. has gained a total of 29 positions, including 11 at the
series last event at Winchester Speedway on September 1st. There are only three events
left in the series 2014 points schedule including the 125 lap event at Kil-Kare Speedway
this Sunday.
Veteran series racer Rick Turner has now dropped to second in the standings with 22
gained positions for the season. Thomas Woodin is now in third place with 16 gained
positions after gaining 10 at Winchester. Rookie Paul Shafer Jr. is in fourth place with 14
gained positions to date. Ross Kenseth is in fifth place with five gained positions.
Cometic Gasket, the Official Gasket of the ARCA/CRA Super Series, will award a $600
bonus to the season leader in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings at the 2014
Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet. A driver has to be in the top 15 in series
points to be eligible for this award.
