Salem, Indiana (August 22, 2014) – ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS veteran
racer Rick Turner is currently leading the Cometic Gasket Hard-Charger standings after 10
ARCA/CRA Super Series events so far this season. Turner has gained a total of 23
positions including three at the series last event at Flat Rock Speedway last Saturday
night, where he became the all-time starts leader for the series. There are only four events
left in the series 2014 points schedule including the Winchester 100, part of the Labor
Day Weekend World Stock Car Festival next weekend.
Leading Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year point’s leader Wes Griffith Jr. is in
second with 18 gained positions so far this season. Fellow rookie Paul Shafer Jr. is in
third place with 11 gained positions so far this season, including gaining three positions in
the Flat Rock event. Ross Kenseth is in fourth place with five gained positions.
Cometic Gasket, the Official Gasket of the ARCA/CRA Super Series, will award a $600
bonus to the season leader in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings at the 2014
Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet. A driver has to be in the top 15 in series
points to be eligible for this award.
