Salem, Indiana (June 27, 2014) – ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS veteran racer Rick Turner is currently
leading the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger standings after five ARCA/CRA Super Series events so far this season. Turner
has gained a total of 23 positions including three at the series last event, the Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway on
June 14th. There are nine events left in the series 2014 points schedule including this Saturday’s JEGS 125 Presented
by CoughlinCars.Com at Columbus Motor Speedway.
Part-time series competitor Brandon Hermiller is in second place with 18 gained positions including gaining 12 at the series event at Illiana Motor Speedway on May 26th. The number 4 Scott Neal owned car is in third place with 17 gained positions, including 18 gained positions by Neal in the Redbud 300. Rookie contenders Paul Schafer Jr. and Wes Griffith Jr. are tied for fourth with seven gained positions a piece.
Cometic Gasket, the Official Gasket of the ARCA/CRA Super Series, will award a $600 bonus to the season leader in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings at the 2014 Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet. A driver has to be in the top 15 in series points to be eligible for this award.
