Stayner, Ontario (June 11, 2014) – Brandon Watson will return to Anderson Speedway in
Anderson, Indiana for the historic Redbud 300 on June 13th and 14th.
"The Redbud is one of those races that every Super Late Model driver in the sport wants
to win", said Watson. "It's going to be an honour just to compete in it. This is a Crown
Jewel event, without question"
In Watson's last appearance at Anderson, the third-generation driver came home with a
season's best 4th place finish.
"We had a great run at Anderson when we were there in April, I'd love to build on that this
weekend", said Watson. "This time will be a little different, on account of the event
distance, but we should be right in the mix at the end"
The 300-lap event has been known to test a driver's patience as much as their equipment,
a fact that's not lost on Watson.
"It's going to be paramount to save our stuff until the end", explained Watson. "So often,
in longer races, you can lose focus and wear your car out. It's all about focus, discipline
and a little bit of luck"
"Our program has been missing luck the last few weeks, so I think we're due for some", added Watson with a smile.
Brandon's 2014 season is made possible thanks to support from Shear Metal Products, Royal Distributing, Barrie Frame & Alignment, The Smart Exchange and Knightworks Designs. Additional packages are still available.
Fans can keep up with Brandon via his Twitter account @BrandonWatson15 and his brand new Brandon Watson Racing Facebook page.
