First appearance in tracks Boyne Machine Super Late Model Series next on 2014 calendar (Special from Boyne Machine Racing)
May 8, 2014
Jenison, Michigan (May 8, 2014) – After a fast start in the ARCA/CRA Super Series
Powered by JEGS 2014 racing season followed by a trip home to Wisconsin for the 6th
Annual Joe Shear Classic 100, Ross Kenseth is ready for a relaxing weekend off. He won't
be down long though as the Little Chute, Wisconsin native, who now calls Jenison,
Michigan home is already focused on the next race on the 2014 calendar.

Kenseth and his Boyne Machine Racing Team will make the short 10-minute trip to
Boyne's home track, the historic 7/16s (0.437) mile semi-banked paved oval of Berlin
Raceway in Marne, Michigan on Saturday, May 17th to compete in the tracks Boyne
Machine Super Late Models Series. This will be the first appearance for Kenseth and
Boyne Machine Racing together at Berlin in 2014 as they prepare for the ARCA/CRA
Super Series race at the famed fairgrounds oval two weeks later on May 31st.

After Berlin, the last two weekends in May will be back in ARCA/CRA Super Series mode starting with Border Wars II - Calypso Lemonade 150 on Memorial Day Monday, May 26th at Illiana Motor Speedway, located south of Chicago, Illinois in Schererville, Indiana. Then just five days later, a return trip to Berlin Raceway is on tap for Saturday, May 31st with the running of the Berlin 125.

"Looking forward to going to Berlin. It's a fun track and I just can't thank, Boyne Machine Company and Enterprise Iron & Metal enough for what they've done for (Crew Chief) Kelly (Bires) and I." Kenseth appreciatively stated. "Mike and Jason (from Enterprise) are big supporters on and off the track and I'm really grateful for the opportunity to work with them on a daily basis. I'm really happy with the consistent performance we have had so far this season and I think if we can keep that up, the wins will only be a matter of time." He added.

In Kenseth's  last race, the 6th annual Joe Shear Classic 100 at Madison International Speedway, Kenseth won the top 16 Qualifier Dash after qualifying 11th within the 31-car field. In the 100-lap main, Kenseth struggled to an 18th place showing.

"We didn't get the finish we were hoping for at Madison, but everyone did a great job all weekend. I felt like we had a really good car going into the race and did all the right things in practice to get the car to where we needed it to be to contend." Explained Kenseth. "I'm not too sure what happened in the race as to why we got so loose but we will figure it out and be better for the next one." He added.

For the remainder of the 2014 campaign, Kenseth's fleet of #77 Boyne Machine Racing / Enterprise Iron & Metal / Ford Fusions are continually seeking sponsorship to go along with the decals already on the car from Boyne Machine Company as well as Enterprise Iron & Metal to join up with Doc360, McGunegill Engine Performance, Draco Springs, Penske Racing Shocks, AP Racing Brakes, Quartermaster, Fast Signs of Appleton, Wisconsin and M.P.H.
