CRA Releases Entry Form for the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway
First Jewel in the JEGS $100,000 Triple Crown set for Saturday, June 14th
Salem, Indiana (May 23, 2014) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS
officials have released the entry form for the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300, which will
take place at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana on Saturday, June 14th. The 300
lap event will pay $10,000 to win plus bonuses and will be the first event of the JEGS/
CRA $100,000 Super Late Model Triple Crown, which will pay a driver $100,000 bonus if
a driver can win the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300, the Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway
and the 43rd Annual Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway. There is a $10,000 bonus
if a driver can only win two of the events.
The top drivers from the ARCA/CRA Super Series will once again battle some of the top
late model drivers from around the country. Georgia hotshoe T.J. Reaid won the series
event held at Anderson on April 26th, it was his third straight win in the traditional Redbud
300 warm-up, and he has also been the EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier at five straight
series events at Anderson.
The Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 Weekend will begin with an open practice on Thursday, June 12th, pits will open at 4pm with practice going from 5 to 8pm. On Friday, June 13th, pits will open at 12noon, there will be an open practice for the Redbud 300 cars only from 1:30 until 3:30pm. Practice for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman will begin at 4:30pm, with qualifying at 6:15pm. Friday night’s race program will begin at 7:30 pm and will include the 100 lap event for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman/Anderson MEP Late Models and a 100 lap Outlaw Late Model event.
Pits open on Saturday, June 14th at 10am, there will be a two hour practice for the ARCA/CRA Super Series cars from 1 to 3pm, with qualifying for the Redbud 300 beginning at 4:15pm. There will be an on track autograph session with all the drivers starting at 6pm, the green flag for the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 will drop at 7:30pm.
The advanced entry deadline for the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 will be Saturday, June 7th, entries received after June 7th will have to pay an additional $25 late entry fee.
