Salem, Indiana (May 23, 2014) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials, in
conjunction with Boyne Machine Company, have announced the formation of a new bonus
program that could net an ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS racer a $10,000 bonus
during the 2014 season. The Boyne Machine $10,000 Michigan Challenge will pay a $10,000
bonus if a driver can win all four ARCA/CRA Super Series events in the state of Michigan during
the 2014 season. Those events include the Berlin 125 Presented by AutoWorldFinancial.com at
Berlin Raceway on May 31st, the Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway on July 19th, the 100 lap series
event at Kalamazoo Speedway on August 13th and the 7-UP 125 at Flat Rock Speedway on
August 16th.
“This is an awesome opportunity for a racer who could put together a great string of victories at our Michigan events
this year,” remarked R.J. Scott, Managing Partner of CRA. “Mike Blackmer at Boyne Machine Company, a huge
supporter of short track racing, wanted to do a special bonus for our Michigan events this season. We really
appreciate his support of CRA and the opportunity he has given one of our racers!”
If a driver cannot win all four events, Boyne Machine will pay a $1000 bonus to the driver earning the most series
points in the four Michigan events.
“We have always received great support from the racers in Michigan,” remarked Glenn Luckett, CRA Series Director.
“This is a way to reward a racer for his support of CRA and for achieving a great accomplishment, by winning four
very challenging events in a state were stock car racing has always been at its best!”
