Ross Kenseth Scores Podium Finish At Anderson Speedway; Continues Strong Start For Boyne Machine Racing
Madison and the 6th Annual Joe Shear Classic 100 is next on the 2014 schedule (Special from Boyne Machine Racing)
May 1, 2014
Jenison, Michigan (May 1, 2014) – As Ross Kenseth and his Boyne Machine Racing
Team led by Crew  Chief, Kelly Bires continue their 2014 racing season together, there is
a couple of important things that they have learned; Consistency and patience will pay
big dividends down the road. Solid performances will eventually lead to wins and if they
keep going down the path they are on, all roads will lead to success.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS was at the fast 1/4 (0.250) mile high-
banked paved oval of Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana on Saturday, April 26th.
The Anderson Properties 125 Presented by Great Deals Savings Magazine would be race
#2 on the schedule within CRA's top series and Anderson is also the site for one of
Kenseth's biggest wins of his career; the Redbud 300 back in 2012.

Kenseth would time in second fastest in qualifying and after the inversion draw was a six,
he would start the 125-lap main from the inside of the third row. The 20-year-old, who
turns 21 on May 25th never strayed outside of the top five the entire event and when the
checkered flew, he came home in third place. With the finish, he also moved up to an
impressive second place in the early ARCA/CRA Super Series points standings.

"Anderson was a pretty good weekend for us. We showed we were really fast in practice
and had another solid qualifying effort, which says a lot for me because I have never been a very good qualifier." Laughed the Little Chute, Wisconsin driver. "(Eventual Winner) T.J. (Reaid) and Brian (Campbell) are on top of their game right now which is good because it gives us a really good indication of where we need to be to start winning races." He added.

"We just had the car a little too loose for the feature to be able to contend for the win but I feel like we built a really good notebook for what to do when we go back there in June for the Redbud 300." Kenseth continued. "Since we've teamed up with Mike Blackmer and Boyne Machine Racing, I really feel like the results speak for themselves. We have been qualifying consistently in the top seven and finishing in the top five excluding our 'DNF' at the Rattler. I could not be any happier with the move to drive for Mike." He offered.

"I really need to thank, Boyne Machine and Enterprise Iron & Metal. Mike, Kelly, and Jason (from Enterprise) are big supporters of me on and off the track and I'm really grateful for the opportunity to work with them on a daily basis. I'm really happy with the consistent performance we have had and I think if we can keep it up the wins will only be a matter of time." He ended.

The next race on the 2014 calendar for Kenseth and Boyne Machine Racing is a return trip to his home state of Wisconsin to compete with the ARCA Midwest Tour Presented by SCAG Power Equipment. The 6th annual Joe Shear Classic 100 is on Sunday, May 4th at Madison International Speedway, located south of Madison in Oregon, Wisconsin, just two hours away from his hometown of Little Chute, Wisconsin. In the 2013 version of the race, Kenseth came away with a seventh place finish. Kenseth is also the 2011 winner of this event.

For the rest of the 2014 campaign, Kenseth's fleet of #77 Boyne Machine Racing / Enterprise Iron & Metal / Ford Fusions are continually seeking sponsorship to go along with the decals already on the car from Boyne Machine Company as well as Enterprise Iron & Metal to join up with Doc360, McGunegill Engine Performance, Draco Springs, Penske Racing Shocks, AP Racing Brakes, Quartermaster, Fast Signs of Appleton, Wisconsin and M.P.H.
