ARCA/CRA Super Series Season Begins At Toledo Speedway For 19-Year-Old Brandon Oakley
New Crew Chief in Gary Estes has Buckeye State Driver excited about the new year (Special from Brandon Oakley Racing)
April 9, 2014
Beavercreek, Ohio (April 9, 2014) – After finishing 16th in the non-points SpeedFest 2014
back on January 26th at Watermelon Capital Speedway (GA), Brandon Oakley is ready
to roll for the 2014 racing season as the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS
officially begins at the fast 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Toledo Speedway
in Toledo, Ohio on Saturday, April 12th for Border Wars I - 7-Up 150. This event is also
the first of two combination races pitting the ARCA/CRA stars against the ARCA Midwest
Tour.

"I'm ready to get to Toledo. We've got a new team put together, and we're ready to work
hard and get some good runs in." The 19-year-old stated as he and his Brandon Oakley
Racing Team get ready for the two hour trip north. "Every race we're going to try to get
our cars as good as we can. These guys have been working really hard and I have no
doubt that we will get where we want to be." The Beavercreek, Ohio teenager added.

The plans for 2014 call for Oakley and his revitalized Brandon Oakley Racing Team to
chase after the 2014 ARCA/CRA Super Series Championship as well as make as many
appearances as the schedule allows in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour as well as the
Robbie Dean Memorial Series for Late Models in his home state of Ohio. There's also the
possibility of competing in select NASCAR K&N Pro Series East races later in the year.

In addition, Oakley will come into the new year with 2013 ARCA/CRA Championship Winning Crew Chief, Gary Estes calling the shot on top of the pit box. Oakley is excited to say the least about the possibilities for the new season. "I'm excited to be working with Gary (Estes). Working with someone different always takes a little time to adapt to one another, but hopefully we can communicate well and get us a good run under our belts. Plus SpeedFest was a non-points race, so we spent that weekend sorting out any bugs we might have had." He added. "We have a good group put together and I feel that we can get things going in the right direction pretty quickly." He added.

Oakley finished fifth overall in the 2013 ARCA/CRA Super Series Points Standings and was also the 2013 Rookie of the Year Runner-Up to top freshman, Ali Kern. His season high finish was a third place showing at Auto City Speedway (MI) on August 15th for his lone top five showing to go with two top 10 showings. He also recorded seven top 15 finishes during the year as well.

For the remainder of the 2014 racing season, all of Oakley’s #51 Brandon Oakley Racing Chevrolet Impalas, one black, one orange and one white will all carry sponsorship support and decals from Dayton International Airport as well as DKBicycles.com Oakley Black Top, Buckminn's D&D Harley-Davidson, Duncan Oil, Main Auto Parts, McAfee Heating & Air, AR Bodies and M.P.H.
