Enterprise Iron & Metal Partners Up With Boyne Machine Racing For 2014 With Driver, Ross Kenseth

Jenison, Michigan (January 17, 2014) – As work continues inside the new sparkling new

10,000 square foot race shops located within Boyne Machine Racing in preparation for the

2014 racing season, Driver, Ross Kenseth and Crew Chief, Kelly Bires continue to settle

into their new residence in West Michigan while doing what they do best; Take care of

racecars.

On the business side of things, Car Owner, Mike Blackmer is busy as well. As the new

season gets closer and closer, Blackmer has been working on what decals will adorn the

side of the veteran car owners machine and Enterprise Iron & Metal and Owner, Jason

Emanuel, a long-time short track racing sponsor and supporter, has climbed on board

with Blackmer, Kenseth and Bires for the upcoming campaign as a partner within Boyne

Machine Racing.

for a long time. He has supported drivers at Berlin (Raceway) in the past like Tim DeVos,

with us in a bigger role. We joined up at the 2013 Kalamazoo Klash and it's been a really

good relationship. We both have the same goal in mind, and that is to get Ross up to the

next level." He added.

As the new season rapidly approaches, work continues on the three Hamke Race Cars chassis from Keyser's Port City Racing as a busy 2014 schedule begins during 2014 Speedweeks as Kenseth will hit the track for the first time in the familiar Boyne #77 at the 48th annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, Florida from February 14-22nd. The Super Late Models will race seven of the eight nights that make up the World Series with the final night, Saturday, February 22nd with the inaugural Bruce Gowland Memorial 100.

"It's exciting being able to finally be able to go to New Smyrna. It's been a track I've heard a lot of good things about and have been wanting to race at for quite a while." The driver, originally from Appleton, Wisconsin but now calling Jenison, Michigan home stated. "I'm looking forward to getting down there and racing basically every day. Running all seven nights can be tough on equipment, but if we can keep our nose clean I don't see why we can't be there to contend for wins which is always our goal going to the racetrack." He added.

After Speedweeks, Kenseth's 2014 racing schedule will also include several appearances within the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS as well as the ARCA Midwest Tour and a couple of events within the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance. In addition, Kenseth also looks to make select appearances in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East later in the year.

The 20-year-old Kenseth appreciatively added. In his last race, back on December 8th, 2013, he finished eighth in the 46th annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway (FL). "I appreciate every opportunity that has come my way in my career up to this point and this move is a new chapter in the book of my racing career." He ended.
