Wes Griffith Jr. Takes Commanding Lead in Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings

Salem, Indiana (October 6, 2014) – ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS

Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year point’s leader Wes Griffith Jr. has a

commanding lead in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger standings after 13 ARCA/

CRA Super Series events so far this season. Griffith Jr. has gained a total of 42

positions in the 13 point events held so far this season, including seven at the series

last event at Lucas Oil Raceway on September 28th. This coming weekend’s

Winchester 400 will be the final series event of the 2014 season.

Veteran series racer Rick Turner is in second in the standings with 13 gained

positions for the season. Chad Finley is in third place with 10 gained positions this

season. Ross Kenseth and fellow rookie Paul Shafer Jr. are tied for fourth with seven

gained positions a piece.

Cometic Gasket, the Official Gasket of the ARCA/CRA Super Series, will award a

$600 bonus to the season leader in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings at

the 2014 Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet. A driver has to be in the

top 15 in series points to be eligible for this award.
