Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Series Back At Anderson Speedway This Saturday, August 17th  

Two-Month Layoff Comes To An End

Salem, Indiana (August 14, 2013) – The Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS will end a nearly two month layoff as they return to Anderson Speedway for their fifth event of the 2013 season this Saturday night. Saturday will be the final of four series events at the fast ¼ mile facility this season. So far this season series event winners at Anderson Speedway include Josh Poore in the series last event, the Street Stock 200 on June 22nd, that victory was Poore’s third in the biggest race of the season for the CRA Street Stocks.

Other Anderson winners include Dustin Burge on April 27 in a rain shortened event were Burge made a pass on the outside right before the yellow came out because of rain which ended the event on lap 63 and Jason Atkinson who got the win in the series event on June 8th surviving a tough battle with eventual second place finisher Calvin Parham.

Entering Saturday’s event, Burge sets a top the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stock owner point standings with a 16 point lead over J.J. Schaffer. 2012 series Champion Jimmy Kirby is in third place, 14 points behind Schaffer. The #31 Todd Marsh owned machine is in fourth place with drivers Tyler Marsh and Wes Russell Jr., with Calvin Parham is in fifth place.

The Anderson Speedway Street Stock division will also be part of the event on Saturday. Parham leads the standings with Tyler Marsh in second, 53 points behind first place. Third is Danny Adams with Kirby and Andrew Cook filling out the top five.

Pit gates open on Saturday at 3:30pm, practice will begin at 5pm with qualifying at 6:30pm. The race program will begin at 8:00pm and will include a 75 lap feature for the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS. Also racing in Saturday night’s program are the Must See Racing Winged Sprints along with the Anderson Speedway FWD Oval and Figure 8’s, plus Thunder Roadsters.
