Anderson Speedway up next for Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Series Powered by JEGS

Anderson 75 to Highlight the Action on the Fast 1/4 Mile

Salem, IN (April 23, 2013) – The Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS will head to Anderson Speedway for their second event of the 2013 season this Saturday night. Saturday will be the first of four straight series events at the fast ¼ mile facility. Josh Myers, Ronnie Rose, Josh Poore and 2012 CRA Street Stocks and Anderson Speedway Street Stock Champion Jimmy Kirby all won series events at Anderson Speedway last season.

Saturday’s event was originally scheduled for Saturday, May 4th, but was moved up a week after the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS event scheduled for April 13th had to be postponed because of cold weather and was rescheduled for May 4th.

Dave Bice is the series current point’s leader coming into Saturday after getting the win in the series season opening Cabin Fever Championships event at Lucas Oil Raceway on April 14th besting a field of 32 cars. Bret Miles Jr. is in second place, Tyler Marsh is third, with Jeff Shelmadine in fourth and Jacob McElfresh is in fifth. Rookie J.J. Haley is the leading rookie in points, he is currently in tenth place.

The Anderson Speedway Street Stocks have had only one event so far this season on Saturday, April 6th were McElfresh got the victory over Marsh, with Calvin Parham, Jeff Hopkins, and Joe Pulley rounding top the five.

Pit gates open on Saturday at 2:30pm, practice will begin at 4pm with qualifying at 5:30pm. The race program will begin at 7:00pm and will include a 75 lap feature for the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS.  Also racing in Saturday night’s program are the Anderson Speedway Thundercars, FWD Oval cars and Legends.
