Noblesville, Indiana (September 17, 2013) – When late model driver Josh Timmerman
returns to action at Lucas Oil Raceway on September 22 in the Top Speed Fabrication
Champion Racing Association powered by Jegs (CRA) Late Model Sportsman Series, it
will be with a new partner, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana.
"We're very proud to have Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana partner with us for
one of my favorite races of the season,” remarked Timmerman. “I've been matched with
my 'little brother' Alex for a year now, and while I set out on this journey hoping to make a
positive impact in the life of someone else, I discovered that it also has made a lasting
impact on my life.”
Timmerman hopes to introduce short-track racing to “Bigs” and “Littles” at the “McGunegill
Engine Performance Fall Brawl” event at Lucas Oil Raceway which begins on Saturday,
September 21 with practice and qualifying, followed by five exciting feature racing events
on Sunday, September 22. “I am so very pleased that CRA has extended its support by
offering free admission for all ‘Littles’ who attend the September 22 race with the paid-
admission of his or her ‘Big’,” said Timmerman.
Timmerman is sponsored by Families for HoPE, Inc., Fisher Fabrication, Schumaker Performance, The Balance and Speed Talk. To learn more, visit JoshTimmerman.com. Additional information about Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana (BBBSCI) can be found at www.bebigforkids.org
