Bigger Purses on Tap for Anderson and CRA Late Model Sportsman Special Events

Anderson, Indiana (June 10, 2013) – Anderson Speedway and Champion Racing Association CRA officials announced today that the Late Model Sportsman will see increased purses for two special events at Anderson Speedway. The 1/4 high banked oval will host a McGunegill Engine Late Model points event on Saturday, July 6th and a McGunegill Engine Late Models and Top Speed Fabrication CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS points race on Friday, July 19th, part of the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 Weekend. The ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance fill out the card for the always popular Redbud 300 Weekend.

Both of these special Late Model Sportsman races will pay $1500 to win, $800 for second, with a standard purse throughout, and $150 to start. Both events will be 75 laps. The events are both presented by Motion Motors with the July 6th race titled the Thompson Builders 75 and the July 19th event titled the PGG 75 also presented by Norrick Petroleum. Anderson Speedway and CRA officials are expecting big fields for both races with some of the best competition in the area.

Jack Neal of Motion Motors is also posting a $500 bonus if someone wins both of these events. The bonus will come in the form of four new tires, including mounting.
