Anderson Speedway up next for Top Speed Fabrication CRA Late Model Sportsman
Second Race of the Season for the teams, first since April 14th

Salem, Indiana (May 8, 2013) – The Top Speed Fabrication CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS will head to Anderson Speedway this Saturday night for their second event of the 2013 season. Saturday will be the first of four series events at the fast ¼ mile facility, battling against the Anderson Speedway McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models. Jason Atkinson got two victories, of his series leading four in 2012, at Anderson Speedway, two time series Champion Keith Sterkowitz and Ronnie Rose also picked up one victory a piece at Anderson in 2012.

Atkinson is the series current point’s leader coming into Saturday after getting the win in the series season opening Cabin Fever Championships event at Lucas Oil Raceway on April 14th, besting a field of 27 cars. Mark Lambert is currently in second with Greg Van Alst third, Eddie Van Meter fourth and Damon Ecoff in fifth place. T.K. Whitman is the top rookie setting in eight place in points.

The Anderson Speedway McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models have had two events so far this season. Sterkowitz and Danny Trent have one win a piece. Sterkowitz leads the points over Jeff Marcum in second, Rob Allman in third, Ronnie Rose in fourth and Jeff Williams in sixth.

Pit gates open on Saturday at 3:30pm, practice will begin at 5pm with qualifying at 6:30pm. The race program will begin at 8:00pm and will include a 75 lap feature for the Top Speed Fabrication CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS.  Also racing in Saturday night’s program are the Anderson Speedway FWD Oval cars and Thunder Roadsters.
