Salem, Indiana (May 30, 2013) – The Top Speed Fabrication CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS will head back to Anderson Speedway this Saturday night for their third event of the 2013 season. Saturday will be the second of four series events at the fast ¼ mile facility, battling against the Anderson Speedway McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models. Trey Craig picked up his first ever series victory at the May 11th series event at Anderson Speedway after a tough battle with Josh Cave that saw the two swap the lead a couple of times and race side by side for several laps before Craig managed to make the final pass with 12 laps to go to get the win. K.C. Spillers finished in second and Mark Lambert was third. A total of 26 cars were on hand for that event.

With his third place finish at Anderson and a second in the series season opener at Lucas Oil Raceway, Mark Lambert comes into Saturday as the series point’s leader. Spillers, the 2012 series Champion, is in second, he is eight points behind Lambert. Greg Van Alst is one point back in third while Jason Atkinson, winner of the series season opener at LOR,  has dropped to fourth after mechanical issues at Anderson regulated him to a 12th place finish. With his win Craig is now in fifth place in series points.

Most recent Anderson Speedway McGunegill Engine Performance Late Model feature winner Rob Allman sits atop the Anderson point standings with Ronnie Rose in second position and Jeff Williams completing the top-three performers. Ronnie Phipps and Jeff Marcum round out the top five.
