Dave Gentile Jr., Set to Wrap Up 2013 Season at Lucas Oil Raceway 

Second JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Appearance of the Year (Special from Goodwin Motorsports)

Joliet, Illinois (September 18, 2013) – Dave Gentile Jr looks to finish out his 2013 season

at the Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, IN this weekend, where he will compete in the

McGunegill Engine Performance CRA Fall Brawl Presented by P.A.D.D. (People Against

Distracted Driving) JEGS/CRA All-Star Series 100 lap race.

Gentile had an impressive fifth place finish at his only JEGS/CRA All-Star Series showing

of the 2013 season, back on May 18th at I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, MO. "We had

planned to run at least 3 JEGS races this season, but our trip to Springport earlier in the

season ended up being rained out," Gentile said. "We're excited to get back to Lucas Oil

Raceway, where we've had some success."

Gentile is referring to his win in the US Pro series back in 2008. Dave went on to win the

championship in the US Pro series that same year.

Gentile started the 2013 season off with a brand new car, and he has piloted his #6

Chevrolet to some great success at his home track, Grundy County Speedway. Highlights

of his 2013 season include a fourth place finish at the Lee Schuler Memorial, and a

dramatic second place finish at the Frank Welch Memorial, losing by just 0.047 seconds.

“My crew has worked so hard this season to put together a great race car. Even though we’ve had a limited racing schedule, I’m very happy with the results we’ve had so far. But, it would be nice to cap off this year with a win,” Gentile continued. 

Though this will be Gentile's final race of 2013, plans for 2014 are already underway. "We've got some exciting news coming up in the off season," said Gentile. "Stay tuned to our Facebook page  in the coming weeks."
