The High-Banks of Winchester Speedway Begin a Four-Race in Four-Weekend Stretch (Special from Deuser Motorsports)
August 30, 2013
Georgetown, Indiana (August 30, 2013) – Corey Deuser continues his knack he has
developed during the 2013 racing season of doing well at tracks he visits for the first time.
Case in point was in the last JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet
Performance race, the Silver Bullet 100 Presented by Coors  Light & JEGS.com at tricky
7/16s (0.437) mile semi-banked paved oval of Auto City Speedway, located North of Flint
in Clio, Michigan on August 10th.

After contact with another car just four laps into the 100-lap main, the Georgetown,
Indiana teenager rallied to post an impressive fourth place finish and pad his points lead in
the chase for the Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie of the Year title. "We had a really good
run at Auto City and I felt that this run showed what this team is capable of." The 15-year-
old stated.

After learning the tricky layout in the optional Practice the day before, Deuser was in the
top five in the first Practice before going to the top of the charts in the final session. After
timing in second quick out of 25 teams on the grounds, the inversion draw was a four
which would place Deuser on the inside of the second row for the start of the race. "We
felt like the car was good and we were up to second early, but we got dumped by another
car and then got hit in the rear end. We fought back though and I'm real happy with the
finish." He said.

A huge four races in four consecutive weekends stretch for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour begins at the fast 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana on Sunday, September 1st with the running of the Winchester 100 Presented by JEGS.com which highlights the first day of the tracks prestigious World Stock Car Festival. "I was there for the 400 weekend last year and went to Salem this year and was able to get a good car, but not a good finish, so we have the speed, we just need the luck." He ended.

Deuser remains in the points lead in the chase for the 2013 Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie of the Year title by 42 points over his closest pursuer. In eight starts in JEGS/CRA competition, Deuser has three top five finishes with his career high finish of a third at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana back on July 19th. His top fives also account for his three top 10 showings as he is also fourth overall in the season long points standings, only nine markers out of the final podium position of third.
