Cole Glasson Sets Sights on Kalamazoo Klash and JEGS/CRA Springport Race
Revised 2013 Schedule allows 13-year-old to run for JEGS/CRA Rookie title in 2014 (Special from Cole Glasson Racing)

Grand Rapids, Michigan (August 12, 2013) – McCallister Precision Marketing (MPM) and
Ponstein Racing announce the remaining late model schedule for Cole Glasson. Just
turning 13, Cole completed a successful race at Lucas Oil Raceway where he reached
his highest speeds (120 mph) of his young career in late models.
With a field of 29 strong, Cole would turn a lap time average of 108.7 mph in qualifying
which would be good enough to put him in the top 20 direct transfer spots to the main
event.
Glasson entered the weekend with a successful 75 lap feature finish in the Super Late
Model division at Berlin Raceway, but this would be his first 100 lap feature event. Driving
hard the entire race and having his first experience with lap after lap of side by side racing
at the high speeds, proved to be a great learning experience for Cole. He would finish the
entire race and come home in P25 with a multitude of cars crossing the line within a
second of each other.
The team returns to action next week at the highly competitive Kalamazoo Klash where
Glasson hopes to build on his last three race finishes. After that, they will return to the
JEGS/CRA All Star Tour to run Springport Speedway and Lucas Oil Raceway in
September to finish off the season and prepare to make a run at the Rookie of the Year
title in 2014 in the JEGS/CRA series.
